“Has seen its better days”

I have been coming here for years, but this was the worse. It seemed run down and sure if I will be coming back. There was a long line at check in, once we got up to the room, it had 2 queen beds instead of one King bed. But I was not going to wait back in the 20 minute check in line

We all had a good time gambling and shopping....It was a nice break from the strip, and the drinks were flowing....But make sure if you stay at the Primm check how far the rooms are from the casino...Whisky petes and Bills rooms are all close to the casinos........

My boss and I had a business trip to the nearby Ivanpah solar power plant and I made the reservation for two rooms. Now, one would think that they would have placed us in rooms that were reasonably close together. Instead, our rooms were about as far apart as you could possibly get. Not a big deal, but it makes you wonder about the competence of the staff at the registration desk. I should add that the hotel was nowhere near being full as the parking garage was practically empty.

Also, at check-in, we requested that the room charges be transferred from my personal credit card to my bosses company credit card. At checkout we learned that did not happen and it took a few attempts to get that corrected.

I found the room to be clean and comfortable. However, when I got ready to take a shower I discovered that there was three hand towels, three bath towels, and NO wash cloths. Since housekeeping personnel were still working down the hallway, I asked about getting wash cloths and was told that they did not supply them on Thursdays. Kind of hard to believe that story and the employee had no explanation as to why that was the case. So, I had to use one of the hand towels as a wash cloth.

We elected to eat dinner at their buffet and what a big disappointment that was. Breakfast the following morning was at their Original Pancake House restaurant. The food is overpriced for a Nevada casino of this caliber, but they give you a lot of food. I was shocked to see that the glass of orange juice I ordered cost $4.79 and only came in a medium size glass.

Room Tip: Request a room on the top (4th) floor and close to the casino. The registration staff will probably...

Have stayed here before, and nothing has changed.
Check in is very slow, only one person at the desk. Asked for a room close to the casino, was placed on the opposite side of the complex. The rooms are very old and need a major update. Looks like they have tried by new bed linens, that is about all. The hallways are dark, dingy and dirty. The bathroom was not clean, toilet needed some major cleaning, so did the bathroom floor.
Have to say the value was great, since it was a comped room. The service at the bar was very good. Try the Firestone wine at the steak house, very good.

Room Tip: Ask for close to the casino, or you will walk a lot.

We have stayed at this site several times. Yes the wait is long to check in...especially if you check in right at their check in time. Make sure you request the area you want your room in.

The concerts are good. We go here when we just want to gamble. Go on to Vegas if you want to spend more and want more options.

Booked the reservation well in advance through the hotel. After waiting for 30 minutes to check in with 3 people in front of us, the staff seemed like it was the first time they had ever booked a room! We finally get our room and they put us in the basement. YES, the basement!! Have stayed there a few times before and didn't even know they had a basement. I now see why they hide it! We get in our room which is downstairs and about a quarter of a mile walk to find the heater is spewing out heat and the buttons just keep spinning and spinning so it won't shut off! We go back to the front desk and the woman just keeps saying over and over 'oh this is not good' like there are no other rooms available. I tell her I don't care how many beds or if they have cots in the room, just find something else. So she says the room next to where we were in the basement is available. I tell her that is unacceptable!!! After another 15 minutes of her moaning and groaning she gives us a room on the 3rd floor. Again, another quarter of a mile walk. The lamp by the bed was unplugged so we plug it in and as we are getting ready to go downstairs the lamp switch keeps turning and turning and now we know why it was unplugged. Instead of replacing or fixing, the maintenance crew unplugged it. The air conditioner was not working so it was stuffy. The shower was the prize though if you want water trickling out then that is the hotel for you! Try rinsing shampoo out of your hair with trickling water. Fortunately we were only there for one night and went to Vegas to get a real hotel!!! How they can say their rooms are renovated in their ad is a joke or if that is their idea of renovating then they need to get out of the 1950's and into the 21st Century. NEVER again will we stay there.

Room Tip: I don't think you want me to say anymore about it because it was a brutal stay! They have gone...

We get comped everywhere, but we find this place the best for several important reasons. The buffet is over the top excellent, crab legs, wonderful tasty variety, steaks, ribs, etc. One of the best things unlike the strip, it is smoke free. It is small enough so you can find each other. The slot manager has picked the very best new slots all in one casino. A bright and happy variety and very high payback. The hotel has been completely refurbished, comfortable beds, room decore on a level with the best in Vegas with the new decorations. You don't have to go anywhere because they have a great outlet mall right here with variety and great prices. The gift shop in the casino has wonderful things for only $10.00 They have amazing rides here for the family, and three casinos connected by monorail and tram. They have a built in movie theater, and you really do not need to go to the noisy smoky strip casinos.

They have concerts and entertainment here all the time and it is wonderful. You will like it.

:)

Room Tip: Ask for pool view... no extra cost
