My wife and I flew into Las Vegas, rented a car upon arrival and drove one hour to Pahrump. We stayed at this hotel which is connected to a casino in order to get an early start for Death Valley the following morning. The rooms are basic with comfortable beds but unlike Vegas offer coffeemaker and a fridge at no extra cost. The food at the hotel restaurant was ok but nothing special. For tourists who arrive in Vegas in the late afternoon but are not interested in the gaming and entertainment world of Vegas and instead would like to shorten the driving time to Death Valley, Pahrump and the "Nugget" hotel will be a good choice.
