Terrible's Lakeside Casino
Ranked #8 of 19 things to do in Pahrump
Attraction details

The Lake behind the casino is a fun place to take the kids to feed the ducks....the RV resort surrounds the lake....a-lot of time.... the water attracts some Kingfishers or Herons.... tons of grass and trees.....for the RV guests there's paddle boats and canoes....a pool ....fishing (not sure if there's much in there though...but it keeps the kids busy)
Monday is 2 for 1 beef tips buffet...very good!
smallish selection of food but decent salad bar...

good breakfast specials $2.99 before 10am...

I don't really gamble so cant tell you how good the slots are there...

It is now LAKESIDE Casino not associated with Terribles anymore as of 2013

my girlfriend and i (from the uk) stayed at the lakeside rv park in october 2013. we had driven over 1500 miles in the week prior to arriving, so we decided to stay three nights and have a rest and relaxation before heading back to las vegas to return the rv.
we opted for one of the more expensive "exclusive" sites close to the reception and pool (think it was 45 dollars a night, with others around 35 dollars).
we can only say what an excellent park this is, with a large reverse in site, with concrete patio and plenty of shade from the trees.
we were around twenty feet from the shore of the lake.
the smallish casino is just across the car park, and the store is well stocked and reasonably priced for general supplies.
a great park for families as there are kayaks and pedillos to go rowing on the lake, as well as a good holiday park atmosphere among the vans staying there.
we barely used the casino apart from a quick 10 dollars on the slots.
pahrump is a busy little city with plenty of supermarkets, swapmeets and eateries etc
we reccommend the lakeside rv park

We stayed here in Sept. 2013 for three days. We enjoyed the paddle boats and kayaks provided to guests for use on the small lake in the center of the park. Saw people catching fish. Spent most of our time in the pool. Make sure to visit the restaurant good food and large portions. Small casino for night time fun. The grounds are grassy with palm trees and shade trees, an absolute oasis in the desert. Price for the RV site was reasonable. Avoid Space 26, our friends parked there and were swarmed by an army of ants from under a metal grate at the back of the site. We will return.

Going into the desert, who knew you could find an oasis? When we pulled into this park, we could not believe what we were seeing. A lake surrounded by large trees with ducks on it and apparently some fish. We were traveling with friends and were given adjoining sites facing the lake. It was very nice looking out the window at the lake, that is, when the sun was not shining through them. We had trees on both sides of us. Some notes on the park which are negative: the Wi-Fi worked great, but you had to constantly log back in and were directed to a site advertising Las Vegas. The other thing is the ANTS - they were everywhere in our coach and our friend's. After a trip to Home Depot to buy ant spray which we sprayed all along the coach where the ants were and on the roof also, they went away. I mentioned the ant problem to one of the maintenance workers who sort of laugh it off - we have ants in the summer. DON'T put any of your plants outside on the ground (didn't know about the ants when the plants went out) because they will build a nice new home there. We really loved this park with the exception of the Wi-Fi and the ants. It was a great place to walk, use the paddle boats, and the nice pool. There were several families who really enjoyed the small beach. Will stay here again if we are ever back in the area since it was a great base for our Death Valley trip and our Las Vegas/Hoover Dam trip.

We had lunch in the restaurant and they give a discount for slot club members. Our party ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, a hamburger and curly fries, a skillet breakfast and pancakes. Good service and friendly staff!
