We were on our honeymoon, the first night. We drove from California thru Death Valley and came to the Best Western, no reservations. The front desk clerk was from Alaska, just like us and he gave us a room at a decent rate. I love Pahrump only cause Art Bell lives there and I was excited to hear him live that night, maybe really close to me!! The room was an average motel room. The grounds were pretty. The restaurant Sports Bar tasted good, but I felt weird in there because several patrons at the bar were staring at me, I dont know why. The bartender didnt come around again to serve us a second round of drinks. So we left quicker than we planned. Overall it was just an average stay and my new husband let me listen to Art Bell when he wanted to sleep, then he promised me the next day we would stay somewhere more "honeymoon-like".

We wanted to visit Death Valley. So we decided to stay 2 nights at Best Western, which is about 1 hr away from it.

I like our room but walls may be alittle bit thin and we could hear our neighbours talking.

Free daily breakfast includes cereals, fruit juices,coffee/tea,make-yr-own-pancakes,toast and others. We could surf the net using the free WiFi connection while we were eating our breakfast.

It's value for money.Anyone who wishes to go Death Valley,I'll definitely recommend Pahrump Best Western to them.

Stayed one night here and only drawback was finding it from the Death Valley side. The town is huge and sprawling and it isn't until you get on the main drag to Las Vegas that anything happens! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are adequate - albeit that the beds were only double size - and there were three of us! There is a breakfast included - mainly cook-your-own waffles and pastries but it was free. Certainly was a good place to stay before hitting Vegas which is about an hour away.

We stayed at the Best Western Pahrump after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We had booked into the Shoshone Hotel but cancelled and booked Pahrump instead. It was worth the extra 30 minute drive. The room (oversized King) was huge. You could have parked several cars in it as well as the king bed. it had a wet bar, microwave and a huge dressing/vanity area.
They are in the process of building a casino. We visited the one across the street and were told by a couple that people go to Parhump to gamble as it is not as frantic as Vegas which is 40 miles away.
We would definately recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The palms surrouding the pool area really give you an oasis impression. The hotel is very nice and well maintained. It is a convenient stop if traveling from Vegas to Death Valley or in opposite direction. I enjoyed breakfast with a large choice of items. The town of Pahrump is not something that would make you stop, but this property is worth the overnight stay.

Huge room, downright cavernous. Property is clean, well-maintained. Decent breakfast bar, which included self-serve waffle irons. There are three buildings: two older ones, one is one-story and one is two-story, both with room doors opening out to the parking lot; and one newer two-story building (which is where we stayed in a nonsmoking king room) with an interior corridor. The walls in this newer building are PAPER-thin. We heard the entirety of our neighbors’ conversation until we turned on the vent fan to create some white noise. This is really our only complaint. Pahrump itself is an odd, sprawling place, with few food options (especially on a Sunday night). In-room coffee maker. Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispenser in shower; hand soap/lotion dispenser at sink. If you can stand the smoke, the casinos may have the best variety of dining, but the smoke can really be oppressive. The Best Western is affiliated with a restaurant called Wulfy’s, which serves pizza and wings, which you can have delivered to your room. There is construction taking place on the property as of mid-February 2005, but it was quiet when we were there over the weekend.
