This was a pretty nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is close to the Valley of Fire State Park, and the northern entrance to Lake Mead NR. We stay here while visiting family at Echo Bay on Lake Mead. The hotel is clean, and rooms are large. Staff was friendly, and attentive. I am actually going to stay here in a couple of weeks again. There is a Mexican Restaurant near hotel, but I did not see much else. Only wierd part is the counters and showers look like blood splatters. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay.

We stayed here while visiting the Valley of Fire. The gentleman who checked us in couldn't find our reservation, but eventually it was found. They were very pleasant and profusely apologized for the delay in checking us in. There is not much to choose from in Overton, but we found it to be acceptable. The room was huge and very clean. The beds were okay, but we were thankful we brought our own pillows. Unfortunately I am on a very restrictive cardiac diet and there wasn't anything available for me for breakfast, but several options for those with no restrictions. I do wish we had been informed when we made our reservation that there was no elevator to the second floor as I had a lot of heavy photographic equipment, plus our luggage to haul up to the second floor.

Room tip: There is no elevator to the second floor

A very nice friendly hotel with large rooms. I had booked on the wrong night but lucky the hotel was able to make the correction to the right night. So that that worry disappeared. It is in a good location to explore the park Valley of Fire and Lake Mead

Stayed here mid-March on the way to the Valley of Fire. Don't expect some type of resort, standard room, nice and clean, dated but everything in good order. Breakfast was standard fare, but lots of elbow room

Unbelievable service from the owners and staff. Wow what a difference it makes when they actually care about their job. I would stay here again in a minute.

Room tip: Any room with do away from the front desk.

Folks it's really the only place in town. Or the only place in town I would stay. If you're visiting the valley of fire or lake mead national park this is the place to stay. Pleasant check in. Nice room. Mattress and pillows were ok. Probably due for a replacement but it wasnt horrible. We turned the fridge off in the room due to the noise. Breakfast included. Scrambled eggs, sausage, homefries. Also waffles. Oatmeal and variety of bread/bagels eng muffins. Decent coffee. Soaps/lotion and shampoos are meh. Limited options for restaurants. Like seriously limited in town. And out of town! We ate at the Mexican restaurant across the street- we are vegetarians and it was ok. Huge portions. We ended up at Lins grocery store for dinner the second night.
