The customer service employees are knowledgeable and helpful, also patient which is a big plus. The non-smoking slot area is attractive. So many are tucked into a dim corner, with no ventilation, a person may as well be in the smoking area. Not so with Aliante!

The Lon Bronson All-Star Band has entered residency on Friday nights at the Aliante Station Casino Show Room. An extraordinary band of musicians from the headlining Strip shows, playing covers from the 60s, 70s and a few contemporary numbers. A feel-good event assured.

The station casinos are a pleasant alternative to the "strip" casinos. This particular station casino has a theater and a TGI Friday's within. My wife and I frequently go in for lunch and a movie and have never been dissappointed.

We played for a couple of hours on nickle slots while the kids were in the movie theater. We were able to make the most of our experience.

It isn't crowded here, lots of slot game choices including penny video poker! Plenty of dining options - check out the food court. Also twice a week is a 50 or better slot tournament.

Even though it is a good price, I would skip the buffet - it is just ok. I also wasn't impressed with the Salted Lime - better off going to Rubio's in the food court.

Club lines can be long at times but most of the time it's pretty quick.

A regular hang-out for us - see you there!
