A friend and I stayed overnight at this hotel/casino. The location is within a half mile or so of the famous "strip". It appears to be an older property, but our room was clean and comfortable and overlooked a garden area and the hotel pool. Brenda, the desk clerk who handled our reservation, was delightful and placed us in a room on the first floor just a few yards from the parking area. The casino was, well, a casino. Loud and smoke-filled. When we left the casino and front desk area, the hallway was quiet and cool. We made "blind" reservations and were very pleased with the result. We knew little about the hotel/casino and were taking a chance.
We were able to catch a taxi to a downtown casino/hotel for a show at a cost of under $20.00 each way, including tip. Not much to say for attempting to drive on the strip!More
