I will use a bad word, the P word, POTENTIAL. This was our first time here and my wife and were really excited about staying here. After about a 40 minute drive from the car rental center we checked in at the front desk. I was asked if this was my first time here and they promptly gave us a room over looking the roof of the casino. I guess this was nit picking but still bothered us. The rooms are pretty long but not wide. Get used to knocking your shin on the wooden bed frame.
We were a late check in and it was after midnight. So we wanted a late meal but every restaurant is closed except for Johnny Rockets in the food court, but since they were cleaning the grill they only could make fried foods Yuck. So we got in the car and drove down the road to Dennys.
We usually Fed Ex our luggage ahead of us and we tracked the box and confirm delivery. I asked the bell desk to please bring the box to our room, and they did ....... 7 hours later.
The next day we went to the Original pancake house. It's not a bad breakfast, if you don't mind paying $4.50 for a small glass of orange juice.
The pool is not bad with plenty of towels and life guards on duty. Also one of the better fitness centers with plenty of free weights and dumbbells and treadmills.
All said and done we ended up spending most of our stay at other properties.
On our check out day we called down to the bell desk for help with our box of luggage down to our car. Larry was his name and he was prompt and loaded all our luggage into the trunk of our car. Aliante Station Casino + Hotel needs about another 50 Larry's.

Clean, Sleek Modern Casino Hotel with an inviting Lobby and Conference Rooms. Rooms are nicely sized, clean with modern amenities that include: WI-FI, Plugs for you gadgets, MP3 Power connection, etc.. The Televison shows much more than your average 15 channels found in most Las Vegas Casino Hotels. A Very nice pool surrounded by lush plantings is immaclately maintained. If you are looking to relax this is it. If you are looking for a twenty somethings party pool where you can spend thousands of dollars in one day - this is not it.
The Fitness Facility has a good mix of Machines and Weights kept clean with a nice view of the pool. There are mounted TV's, I saw none of the newer machines with the individual sets.

The possible shortcomings of this Area and the Casino Hotel are:
You MUST drive to everything, It's not walking distance to anything. The Strip is a 45 min drive, if that matters to you. Same for a Mall, plus there are few(maybe even none) Great dining options in this newer part of the city. They have No Spa plus no arrangement with any spa in the area. While the room was clean, the plastic laminate furniture is beginning to show wear plus our mattress had that lumpy feeling of age. I do admit, I've been spoiled by the "Wonderbed at "W" Hotels, however this bed falls far short. Want an Omlette at 4:00 am? Sorry this place for food sort of "rolls up the sidewalks" after midnight. You will have to wait until morning.

Room Tip: If you are coming to GAMBLE really Gamble - Call a Casino Host First and ask(nicely) about requireme...

fabulous hotel right out there in the desert well beyond the Las Vegas Speedway. It was a nice surprise to us how great the rooms were.Super beds, shower and bathroom fixtures, nice view of the desert from double smoked window.(keeps the heat out!!) Great swimming pool with jets of water shooting across. Altough again, no coffee makers in the room, we had a 42" flat screen TV, where you are welcomed by your name right on the screen. It was a bargain openning special for less than $60/night.Realy very enjoyable, nice mountains around and a OK foyer.I would go there again. But... you obviously need a car , it is a distance from downtown Vegas(itself in the northern part of the strip.

We asked for a non-smoking room. The room they gave us smelled dusty and stunk like stale smoke. My husband who always runs anti-bacterial wipes on remote controls and such, noticed the seating area wasn't so clean. As he turned the cushion over to the opposite side, he discovered numerous cigarette butts stashed under the cushion. YUCK!

He brought one of the cleaners in to show her the area that had been missed during cleaning. She apologized, cleaned the mess and asked if we would like another room. Yes, we did, and they graciously moved us to another room on another floor. The room was nicely decorated and appeared clean. The bathroom sink would not drain, and is a shallow artsy design, so this was a problem when you tried to brush our teeth. The only other downside was the gash on our shins from the edge of the bed. It got us both. My husband went through several band aids.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, the hotel and casino was beautiful. These were our only issues.

Stayed here one night on a Friday in May. Thanks to our player's card promo mailer, our room was comped. The hotel is far from the strip in North Las Vegas. However, we decided to give it a try since we've stayed at other Station properties and enjoyed it. Check in was fast and easy. Got a room on the 3rd floor with a slight view of the pool. King sized bed, large flatscreen TV, and small bathroom (shower only, no tub). The toilet area is not completely separated from the shower/sink area. Room is average in size, modern looking, and clean.
Casino was large with many slot machines. Got more busy during the evening. There was a very long line for the dinner buffet. It would have been nice if there was a separate line for hotel guests since most of the people there looked like locals. Food wasn't the greatest and selection was lacking. But what can you expect for $9.99.

Check out was done through the TV. Valet service was prompt. Overall, our stay was just Ok. I'd rather stay at Red Rock or Green Valley. This place is just too far from everything. Although, there is a Target, Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, etc nearby. It was a free night, so I really can't complain. It's too bad that it's just so far away.

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend. We were offered a complementary room as part of their "We Luv Locals" campaign, so can't complain about the price. However, while this hotel is always clean and the decor is nice, the service always seems to come up lacking, especially compared with other comparable hotels in Vegas. There are a number of policies in effect that make the guest go out of their way. For example, when checking in they take your phone number if your room isn't ready, but don't complete the check-in process. When you're called later to return, there is usually a line and the process takes longer because you then have to provide your credit card. Also can't use the pool until this time, which can be rather late in the day. Speaking of using the pool, you have to wear a wristband, which is no problem with me so they can identify who is a hotel guest and has paid to use the pool. But instead of them checking your key at the pool and placing the wristband on you, you have to go to the front desk, and, you guessed it, wait in line again. Very annoying. Finally, waking up in the morning, there is no place near the hotel area to purchase a decent cup of coffee. They serve coffee in the gift shop, but it is awful and the only decent place that's open is across the casino to the Original Pancake House (the property's best asset - excellent food and service). Now, they used to have a Dunkin Donuts at the other end of the casino in the food court, but it was taken out some time ago, maybe due to lack of business. However, wouldn't it make sense to have a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or something similar on the side of the hotel where both hotel and meeting rooms are located? Again, just another thing where this property comes up short. Overall, it was a nice stay, but there are a lot of things that could use tweeking for improvement.

We chose Aliante because of its first class TripAdvisor reviews, its excellent website with fantastic images of the hotel and because we wanted an 'off strip' experience, a simple, modern hotel. One of the biggest motivators was also the price. This hotel is incredible value for money. It is hard to believe that their room rates are so low - even with the daily resort fee they charge.

Aliante is a contemporary hotel set in the desert in the residential suburb of Aliante, North Las Vegas. It is part of the Station Casions group and is a sister propery to Red Rock Casino and all the others in the collection.

With a rental car, you are looking at a drive to the strip of around 20 minutes. But what a drive. As you fly along the highway you can see the shimmer of the strip in the distance - it is a great feeling to know that you are experiencing a bit more to Vegas than the strip and the airport.

The pool area is stunning and is probably the biggest plus point for the hotel. A fabulous pool with lots of sun loungers and options for day beds and cabanas.

This is a good hotel if you have a rental car, are happy to drive and you are looking for something a little different to your usual strip experience. I am not sure that it would be the best option for a first time visitor to Vegas but if you have done the Vegas thing and are happy to travel then go for it - it is a safe bet.

There are several Targets and Walmarts and all the stores you need within 10 minutes drive away.

The hotel buffet was so cheap - the food quality was just okay. You get what you pay for!

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view of the pool!
