Stayed for Memorial Day weekend. We were offered a complementary room as part of their "We Luv Locals" campaign, so can't complain about the price. However, while this hotel is always clean and the decor is nice, the service always seems to come up lacking, especially compared with other comparable hotels in Vegas. There are a number of policies in effect that make the guest go out of their way. For example, when checking in they take your phone number if your room isn't ready, but don't complete the check-in process. When you're called later to return, there is usually a line and the process takes longer because you then have to provide your credit card. Also can't use the pool until this time, which can be rather late in the day. Speaking of using the pool, you have to wear a wristband, which is no problem with me so they can identify who is a hotel guest and has paid to use the pool. But instead of them checking your key at the pool and placing the wristband on you, you have to go to the front desk, and, you guessed it, wait in line again. Very annoying. Finally, waking up in the morning, there is no place near the hotel area to purchase a decent cup of coffee. They serve coffee in the gift shop, but it is awful and the only decent place that's open is across the casino to the Original Pancake House (the property's best asset - excellent food and service). Now, they used to have a Dunkin Donuts at the other end of the casino in the food court, but it was taken out some time ago, maybe due to lack of business. However, wouldn't it make sense to have a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or something similar on the side of the hotel where both hotel and meeting rooms are located? Again, just another thing where this property comes up short. Overall, it was a nice stay, but there are a lot of things that could use tweeking for improvement.

We chose Aliante because of its first class TripAdvisor reviews, its excellent website with fantastic images of the hotel and because we wanted an 'off strip' experience, a simple, modern hotel. One of the biggest motivators was also the price. This hotel is incredible value for money. It is hard to believe that their room rates are so low - even with the daily resort fee they charge.

Aliante is a contemporary hotel set in the desert in the residential suburb of Aliante, North Las Vegas. It is part of the Station Casions group and is a sister propery to Red Rock Casino and all the others in the collection.

With a rental car, you are looking at a drive to the strip of around 20 minutes. But what a drive. As you fly along the highway you can see the shimmer of the strip in the distance - it is a great feeling to know that you are experiencing a bit more to Vegas than the strip and the airport.

The pool area is stunning and is probably the biggest plus point for the hotel. A fabulous pool with lots of sun loungers and options for day beds and cabanas.

This is a good hotel if you have a rental car, are happy to drive and you are looking for something a little different to your usual strip experience. I am not sure that it would be the best option for a first time visitor to Vegas but if you have done the Vegas thing and are happy to travel then go for it - it is a safe bet.

There are several Targets and Walmarts and all the stores you need within 10 minutes drive away.

The hotel buffet was so cheap - the food quality was just okay. You get what you pay for!

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view of the pool!

Let's get the good out of the way, the property is beautiful , the staff on general are friendly.
The bad, service in the restaurants is terrible, I'm actually writing this while sitting in TGI Fridays, our original plan was to eat at the Italian restaurant, however after being ignored for 15 minutes while everyone around us was served we gave up, we have eaten in this restaurant before and the food is very good.

I'm thinking from now on we will be staying at Bedrock.

We travelled to Las Vegas in order to explore a number of National Parks in Nevada, Utah and Arizona which we were easily able to do from this beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom large and everything is new and sparkling! The decor blended beautifully with the desert environment. The buffets were surprisingly good and there were lots of good deals to be had. Can't speak to the gambling as we did very little (played the slots a couple of times). The pool is gorgeous and this place is a great getaway!!!

Room Tip: Ask about deals!!

Located 20 Min. from the strip in North Las Vegas, the Aliante was the perfect place to relax. They do not have an airport shuttle, so I would advise renting a car. We did and used it to see the strip, Freemont St., Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon West Rim.
The rooms are very clean and the only thing they are missing is a fridge.
They have a food court, Buffet, and several specialty restaurants which are very good. (MRKT restaurant is good but very pricy)
They have a pool and hot tub with a bar in the pool area. They also have a great workout room.
Let's not forget that they have alot of low limit table games (usually $5 minimum during the day) and lots of slots. They also have bingo games throughout the day and a poker room.
If reserving online for a special rate, it is non-refundable and there will be a $15 per day amenity fee added to your bill when you check out. These are clearly spelled out when making the reservation, so I don't know why other reviewers stated they were "suprised" to learn about these during their stay.
Walmart and Target just up the road for anything you may have forgotten to bring with you.
All in all, if you like to see the sights and action in Vegas without staying in the hustle and bustle, I would recommend the Aliante.

Room Tip: Reserve online to get a good rate.
