You just can't complain for $32 a night! The room was relatively clean and surprisingly quiet. Our check-in seemed rather long, but the staff was helpful and patient, there were just not enough employees to handle a long line of patrons. Check-out was smooth and efficient. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a night as you are passing through Mesquite.

The saving grace of this hotel/motel was the staff. From the front desk to the friendly maintenance staff all were polite, courteous and helpful. Only reason for 2stars and not just one.

We had booked two nights here on our way home to BC. I was hopeful as had read that the rooms had been updated. However, we needed a dog friendly room. Seems when you tell hotels or motels that you are travelling with a pet, you draw the short straw when it comes to rooms;-(. The only updating was laminate flooring instead of carpet. The TV was from the early 80's. Amenities were minimal. The only seating in the room was an uncomfortable wooden kitchen set with small table.

The casino was very smokey with no discernible non-smoking area. Temperature in the casino was also quite warm. Food in both the buffet and the coffee shop was definitely a miss. Service in the coffee shop was slow but friendly

Give this place a miss. If travelling with a pet maybe try the Best Western near by.

I stayed here for one night and for $27, I felt it was a bargain. The rooms were clean and I slept reasonably well. The shower was serviceable although seemed to run out of hot water pretty quickly. The beds aren't glamorous but they were comfortable enough. They have a pool and jacuzzi as well.

The hotel is detached from the casino, so expect a bit of a walk if you want to gamble. The buffet there is also a bargain and serves good food. The casino also serves all levels of gamblers and we found plenty to do there.

Check-in was painless, although there was a line of about 15 - 20 minutes wait. I think a lot of people were checking in because of traffic problems on I-15 and trying to find a room.

The hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway and I would definitely stay here again, especially at the price they were offering.

old property, but our stay was a very comfortable stay. the only complained that i had, was, if you wanted coffee, you either had to go to starbucks ($2.60 a cup) or into the hotel cafe ($2.75 a cup). the rooms were not attached to the hotel. the soap, was the size of a silver dollar. just some little thing like that just bugged me. OVERALL, THIS PLACE WAS A GREAT VALUE.

Room Tip: TRY TO STAY ON THE BOTTOM LEVEL. the buffet and cafe, had a nice selection to choose from.

The Virgin River hotel and Casino is always a nice stop for a night or two. The rooms have been painted on one side but that's it. TV it's old bathroom a little dirty beds stiff. Her the price is great on a Saturday night stop. Will be back again next year.

The room was clean & quiet. NON Smoking building. Did not like standing in the SMOKE filled lobby/casino while checking in or out at the reservation desk. I have smoke allergies and this DID NOT help them. It was fine for passing through on our way to So. CA. The $5.99 Prime Rib dinner was great in their dinning Cafe.

Room Tip: If not a gambler or smoker, Farthest away from the Casino.

The rooms have been repainted and updated with new furniture and beds. The TV was "Old school", but that wasn't a major issue for me. I would suggest bringing your own shampoo and conditioner as the harsh soap provided wasn't too great. The room had coffee pot and alarm clock. The check in line was huge, they could have used a few more windows open. No problems, just a very basic place to stay while having fun in Mesquite.

Room Tip: If you don't like noise above you, then get a third floor room. If you have trouble walking, the...
