We had a corner room overlooking the Colorado River and the room was absolutely spotless, great plasma television and those lovely people that clean the rooms were beyond compare in making sure all the nook and crannies are wiped just right! The only thing negative that I would say about Harrah's is that you have to drive to get closer to all the other casinos which are within walking distance of each other... but, in my opinion, the stay was worth the effort to drive, park for free, and visit other hotels/gaming rooms. Harrah's games are good, don't pay off as good as some but you do have LOTS of choices from other nearby hotels. The room is immaculate, have cabana's to protect yourself from the direct sun should you choose to do that. I would recommend this hotel to others that are traveling to Laughlin, NV.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the Colorado River if you possibily can. They seem larger and "fe...

This is a sizable property, with lots of features. It has a beach, hot tub, pool, and some 5 restaurants. The room furnishings are dated, but serviceable. Nothing extraordinary about them other than the view of the river, if you are on the right side.

Gaming is in need of help. It is nice that they have a non-smoking section, but there are only 2 blackjack tables there. Very poor slot choice on either side (smoking or non). Poker room is popular.

The steak house is expensive and not that outstanding. There is a Mexican venue, a 24-hour cafe, and the ever-present buffet. Also inside is a Starbucks, Cinnabon, Baskin/Robbins, and Mickey D's.

The gift shop is open long hours, and the water taxi is a fun ride if you want to check out other casinos. You can rent wave runners, take a river cruise, or visit interesting old nearby towns like Oatman, AZ.

Room Tip: I ask for upper floors and the end of the hall (corner rooms are really special). Reduces the noise...

We have stayed at Harrah's in Laughlin several times. We always enjoy Laughlin and Harrah's is a clean and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are nicely appointed. Our room had a king sized bed, nice tv and two very comfortable chairs. Very important to me is a clean bathroom. Our bathroom was very clean. We had a view of the Colorado River, from our window, overlooking the beach. It was fun to watch the boats and jet skis on the river. I would highly recommend Harrah's to everyone. We had coffee drinks at the Starbuck's in the lobby and spent some time in the casino. We were pleased that there was a smoke free area in the casino. There is also a Mc Donald's, Cinnabon and a 31 Flavors. We didn't eat at the buffet this time but have in the past and had a very nice meal. We noticed that there are lots of things for kids to do. There is an arcade, pool and of coarse the river for kids to enjoy.

Room Tip: River view rooms are nice.

We spent two nights at Harrahs Laughlin and were pleasantly surprised. When we checked in for our $19. a night room in the North tower we were upgraded to a deluxe room. The recently updated room was spacious, clean and comfortable with duvet bedding and a flat screen tv. My husband requested a refrigerator which was delivered in ten minutes at no charge and we then headed off to the buffet. The buffet was excellent and only $17 with a Harrahs Club card. We found ample boat and trailer parking on site and enjoyed our time on the river and nearby Lake Mojave.

We had a river view central tower room and were happy with it! Loved the view of the river in the morning and even at night!! View of the pool too!! Reasonably priced at only $35 a night. Only disappointment was there was no fridge in the room. We were told at booking there was... We got by with our cooler though. Kind of like fancy camping.. :)

The casino is nice and clean. Not too long before a waitress offers a drink. The slots were tight... in all the casinos!! The only place we won was at Harrah's. ($80 on a 45 cent bet)

Buffet was better in the morning and less expensive. Has a lot of the same dinner items out for the brunch buffet. The dinner... well, some of it was rather low quality. Especially the breaded shrimp. Over fried and big dirty veins. The drinks are free which is great but the coffee left a gnarly aftertaste in my mouth... both at dinner and at breakfast too. Only other place we went in Harrah's was McDonalds... and McDonalds is McDonalds. They do have a Starbucks for those who need good coffee in the morning.

The beach is great. It is nice to be able to swim in the river and lay out in the sun. We went during off-season and had tons of privacy to relax and play as we wish. We also rented jetskis that we were able to park in front.

All in all... we would stay again at Harrah's but first we will be trying the Pioneer!! :-)

Wife and I stayed here Sept 17th for two days. I had always wanted to stay here but usually cost was out of the question. They were having a special and was finally able to stay. When we arrived we were told only a handicap room was available. I'm not fond of those rooms simply because they are designed for a handicapped person which we are not. Example being the bathroom. Shower had this huge fold down bench in it which was very much in the way of someone not needing it. Shower head was on this long hose which was awful to use. The bathroom just did not feel clean. Everything about the hotel is very old and dated. We found ourselves going to the other hotel casinos to have fun. Slots were very tight and was not an exciting atmosphere, which is what you expect when going to a casino resort. I will say the buffet was very good but at the same time over priced. No coffee in rooms or comp wifi. My excitement of staying quickly turned to dissapointment. Air conditioning barely kept room cool and the pillows were absolutely horrible.
