We went to eat at the Coco's restaurant in the basement of the Edgewater. We stood for some time in full view of the manager and several employees. When they finally decided to help us, a young blond girl took us to a table. She realized it was dirty and offered to clean it. We agreed. She went and got wet towel and proceeded to wipe down the table. She then reached under the table where another diner had left a dirty napkin, picked it up and used it to dry off the table. We were aghast at this. Who knows if that other diner had tuberculosis, herpes, or some other communicable disease which she had just spread all over the place. We looked for the manager who had been standing chatting away earlier. She was nowhere to be found. So we got up and left.
We walked down the hall to their buffet. Despite what looked like an amazing selection of food, there was actually very little to choose from. And during our meal the staff began taking away the food. So we felt very rushed. Everything seemed dry and many items had a crust on them. Things that should NOT have a crust like pasta salad and tuna salad. It was gross. It was costly. And were it not for our server, who was very nice, it would have been a sad excuse for a meal. He was very attentive. But, with such horrible food, we urge you to stay away.
