“Very Impressed!”

I did a lot of research on this site to figure out the best place to stay in Vegas, and I'm glad I chose the Mirage. The location is perfect; it's an easy walk to Fashion Show, Bellagio, Wynn, etc. The rooms have been recently remodeled, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The pool area was a tropical oasis, and there was no trouble finding a lounger on a Tuesday afternoon (not sure what the weekends are like). Great value for under $100. The only minor drawbacks are ones you'd find at any Vegas hotel: smoky casino, resort fee and difficult to find a cheap/quick breakfast (try the Subway across the street in Casino Royale). Overall, I was quite impressed and would strongly recommend the Mirage.

We came to Vegas for our friend wedding and chose this hotel b/c it was a good location on the strip. HOWEVER, if you want to sleep at night do NOT stay here. They had a band playing down at the pool that started at 10:30pm and ended at 4am. We stayed on the 11th floor and it rattled our windows. I called to front desk and complained several times that we could not sleep. They did nothing! Then at 4am the peole across the hall came in and partied and screamed & played loud music the rest of the nights. We called security 4 times and finally at 6:45am they came and calmed them down. By then it was morning and we were MISERABLE. Will not stay here again. The doors and walls are thin and you can hear everything that goes on next to you. It looks nice but dont be fooled.

Great pool to chill out and enjoy the day.
Paridise restauant at the pool has the best salad caled The Blast salad(bacon lettuce avocado shrimp tomato)>
Dinner at any resort restaurants is delicious, but Onda is my favorite.
The dealers are the funniest people in the world.
You have to imagine watching people from all over the world cross their tables every day. Some are drunk. Some are mad. Some smart and some not so.
The dealers stories are the best. Be nice to them and your gambling experience will be improved. Even if you are not doing so well.
Overall great for middle class, normal people that want a little more than average service.

Recently returned from a 4 night stay at The Mirage. We loved it! The rooms were excellent. A very good size, comfortable beds and bathroom size just fine for us..(FYI...there is a hairdryer it's just in a drawer in the bathroom instead of hanging on the wall). The pool area is gorgeous and I had the best Pina Colada there that I have ever tasted. It was hard to get loungers on the weekend but during the week was no problem. We also liked that the rooms are very close to the pool area so a walk from your room to the pool is no more than 5 minutes. We also ate at Cravings Buffet which was good. They had a very large selection of foods, probably the most we had seen at any of the buffets we had eaten at. Location is good too and if you don't want to walk all the way down to MGM, take the Go Bus. It's $7.00 per person for all day or $20.00 per person for 3 days. The only negative I have is the $15.00 resort fee, you get wireless internet and that's it. Seems to be a bit of a rip off but we aren't complaining.....We loved The Mirage and will absolutely stay here again.

The Mirage is well placed on 'The Strip'. As with almost all Las Vegas hotels you need to walk through the casino to get to and from your room. Rooms are large, well laid out and comfortable, although the some real basics missing for a 4 star hotel i.e. hairfryer in room and insufficient towels.

We stayed 9 nights in this hotel and had a deluxe bedroom with view on the Trump hotel. It was a good deal and we were very happy when we saw the room was newly refurbished. The bathroom was rather small, but we didn't care about that. The hotel is conveniently located on the strip in LV walking distance to all the action. I really liked the main pool area, but sometimes it was hard to get a chair, so we went to the Bare pool a couple of times, which is more of a European style topless pool with music and party people. You have to imagine this is a huge hotel with all kinds of eateries, casino games, bars, nightclubs, etc. On saturdaynight we went for dinner in the "Stack restaurant", which is wonderful and serves THE BEST STEAK EVER in a rock 'n roll atmosphere. I loved it! When visiting LV, I would definitely chose the Mirage again!!!

My wife and I had a great time a the Mirage. We stayed there from August 29,2010 to Sept 3,2010 for our wedding, and everything was just as we expected it to be. We had our reception dinner at the Cravings Buffet and the food and service were top notch. When the front desk found out we were getting married they sent up a bottle of champagne for us. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.
