was told the pool was open which is why we booked there. It closes at 4 pm, the lazy river and cabanas are barricaded off, and not a spec of sun! I heard rumors that we might get access to the MGM pool, but when I asked the front desk staff, merely got a rude reply that 'they can't change the sun position'.

We were happy with our stay at the Hotel. Our room was clean and on the larger size, we have definatley stayed in much smaller rooms! The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel location was good and we would concider returning to this hotel. One downside for me was there were no $5.00 dealer tables to play, all table's were min $10.00 and as i'm not a huge gambler we had to leave the property as I only wanted to play $5.00 tables. We did have an incident upon checking out so I was happy that we had not used the express check out or I feel it would have been to late to solve. We were overcharge at the concierge desk for some show tickets we had purchased form Monte Carlo. The front desk gal did her best to take care of this issure for us and in the end they credited our diputted differance so we left as happy guests.

Upon checking in, the lady named kathy was very rude! She had an attitude and was not helpful at all... They were located in the perfect spot! but the room was very dated and the shower was horrible... Their resort fee ($21) a day was too much... I would not stay here again for sure. I rather pay a little more to have a better service. I think they are overrated!!! Sorry!

The Monte Carlo is a very nice hotel. The atmosphere is classy. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. I would stay there again. There is the City Tram which goes from the Monte Carlo to the Bellagio. This makes going back and forth much easier.

This is the second time at this hotel. The room is very comfortable. Not as decadent as some of the other casino/hotels but perfect for sleeping! The location is great to get anywhere on the strip! The staff are always polite and helpful.

For a hotel that is rated 5 stars I give it a 2. Upon checking in was charged an additional resort fee.
The resort fee paid for the use of the pool and two bottled waters I was told. . The room was clean but very dated . The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke even in the non smoking room. The pool was located beside the Hotel which blocked the sun. Too bad the architect didn't take the sun orientation into the placement of the pool.Would not stay here again. There are too many other great places on the strip
