This review is based solely upon referrals by locals as we are yet to visit establishment. Attempted to visit upon a recommendation of a slot attendant while we were at Palms last trip. She told my wife that this is where she and her friends go, as they are locals. They evidently have a good mix of penny slots that my wife inquired of. We attempted to visit as we had a car and it is only about 5 miles from south end of strip. It is off the Blue Diamond exit on that road but we had difficulty accessing it and finally gave up to no avail. Like I said, it must be a good value if the locals like it but, we didn't experience it, in all fairness. Oh well, next trip!

Thank you for taking the time to write a nice review of a hotel that you didn't even visit! We love hearing when people are referred to Silverton Casino Hotel, especially by locals. I'm curious as to why you had difficulty accessing the casino/hotel. We hope that you will visit and stay with us on your next visit to Las Vegas.

I chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest I could find with a majority of good reviews. It didn't disappoint.

The hotel staff were nice and friendly, and there wasn't any line to check in like I've seen at other Vegas hotels. The room was clean and neat.

The only thing that detracts is that the parking lot is not all that close to the building. If you park in the garage, you have to walk through the casino to get to your room. Not a huge deal, but something worth mentioning.

My husband and I started making arraignments in May for our wedding in October 2013. The service we received was exceptional. We had a small block of rooms and planned our reception to be held at their Mexican restaurant. The staff was so attentive to our needs and stayed in close contact throughout the months through our wedding day. Making sure we were very well taken care of. We were a small party but they treated us like royalty. The rooms are VERY nice. Much better than the ones on the strip and their staff is exceptional. I just cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience at The Silverton was.

Room Tip: Rooms opposite pool side are quieter.

Had a great time at Silverton, just missed a huge food truck festival in their parking lot, which looked like it was amazing, however the casino was very clean and when we got our player cards, they put a seniors sticker on my husbands, which was a bit shocking because he is only 50! We had a good laugh at that, but we both would highly recommend this casino. When you walk in the main doors there is a huge aquarium with all kinds of cool fish in it, apparently they have mermaid shows there but we didn't seen any. Bonus is the attached Bass ProShop, which is awesome to shop in! Next time we are going to check out the rooms, breakfast in the Cafe was excellent, really good coffee and the breakfast burrito was fantastic.

Wonderful to see that you both enjoyed your visit with us. The Las Vegas Foodie Fest is quite an event, especially when they bring White Castle to town. But, it sounds like you had more than enough fun inside the casino and at Bass Pro Shops. We're glad you enjoyed your breakfast at Sundance Grill. We do hope that you will stay and visit us again in the near future.

Stayed at this place for a family reunion weekend. It's away from the strip so there's not all the busy traffic around. It's attached to the Bass Pro Shop, so that was a big plus for the boys. It has a giant salt water aquarium that features mermaids now and then. The restaurant and bar wasn't all that spectacular but we'd definately go back again.

We've stayed at the Silverton several times. The rooms are clean, comfy, quiet, and a great value during the week ($46 plus tax etc.) The casino and restaurant area has been expanded so there is plenty to do without venturing down to the Strip. The air quality inside the casino is better than most - esp as there is no "non-smoking" zone. Free drinks if you are playing. My husband enjoys a stroll through the Bass Pro Shop. The buffet has decent food--plenty of choices, and priced right. The valet parking is free - so you don't have to haul your luggage from the parking lot or garage. It's really a great choice if you are just stopping in Vegas for one night or two and don't want the craziness of downtown.

Stayed here over the weekend for 2 nights. The rooms are clean and the beds are more comfortable than most hotels. The only drawback was the $5 or so charge for a coffeemaker. Really? Other than that, they had a band playing both night which was a fantastic venue. The hottub and pool are super clean. The restaurants are great. And the Bass Pro Shop in the casino was fantastic.

We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay and provided feedback about your weekend stay with us. It sounds like you took full advantage of all of the amenities that our hotel has to offer. With a full service Starbucks in the casino, our guests have given us feedback that they enjoy getting their coffee beverages there rather than from the coffeemaker in the room. We hope that you will visit us again in the near future.
