Casual yet charming, the interior's vibrant lights illuminate the one-of-a-kind hand painted murals that line the walls alongside numerous plasma screen televisions. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, Diablo's Cantina provides a high-energy environment that is an enchanting complement to its enticing menu and diverse cocktail offerings. The main level of Diablo's Cantina features a dining area and walk-up frozen/specialty drink bar, while the second floor provides an unparalleled outdoor setting with an open-air bar and stage for live entertainment, all with spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip at the best mexican restaurant las vegas. Diablo's Cantina has created a menu filled with Mexican cuisine ranging in flavors and spices. Diablo's Cantina focuses on the authenticity of Mexico's signature flavors and celebrates the comfort of the regional fare. Never one to skimp on quality, Diablo's Cantina serves hand-made guacamole and the freshest vegetables and meat into his double-stuffed burritos. In addition to fiery nacho and taco options, other tempting menu items include Stuffed Quesadillas and Sizzling Fajitas. For those diners who shy away from spice, Diablo's Cantina also offers equally impressive American bites, including Diablo's Jumbo Burger and BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. Diablo's Cantina features two bars filled with cocktails. Drinks like these were meant to be enjoyed any time of day; try a midday Mai-Tai or a Diablo's Signature Margarita that has been declared one of the "best margaritas on the strip" before you continue your fiesta out on the town.

“Just average, nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2010

Great location sit and watch the strip, open air but air conditioned.
Service was OK, Pricing, like other's have said is about $16 for everything. I have to agree that the nacho's were great. I also liked the margaritas! The pitcher price is a good deal.
However, the bartenders and waitresses think they are something special, and you should be happy to be served by them.

Go, have a few drinks and move along, you can do better elswhere.

“Best Danged Guacamole, Chips & Salsa in Vegas"”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2010

I rate a Mexican restaurant by the Holy Grail: its chips, salsa and guacamole. I was here in September and it never fails. The chips are fresh and tasty, the salsa are fresh and have bite and the freshly prepared guacamole is top notch. I have been here 4 times in the last 3 years and they keep doing it right.

This place fronts on the street so it is busy with loud music playing so be prepared fo endure that.

The waiters have been perdonable and proficient.

Beer is served in plastic mugs--ugh!

It can be entered from the Monte Carlo casino or streetside.

“Cant go wrong with the nachos”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2010

Third trip to this place.. Fun place to hang out ! Order the nachos. This time we had steak and chicken on our nachos. One order filled both of us up.. We each had a cocktail. We were stuffed. Bill was about 30 bucks. Stick to doing just this here and you wont be dissapointed here. Plus the place has a great atmosphere and good people watching from the seats next to the street.

“Find somewhere else to eat!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2010

You might as well call this place "Sixteen dollars". The standard price on the menu for the substandard food is $16 - $17 ~ and it really isn't that good. We started with the chips and salsa ~ that was probably the high point of our night!! We're from Phoenix, so we have a lot of experience with exceptional Mexican food restaurants ~ this just wasn't one of them!! I got the tres tacos ~ the tortillas were subpar and the beef was, too. Nothing redeeming with that dish.

Not impressed whatsoever with this restaurant.

“World Cup was on and Great Drink Specials”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2010

Walked in off the strip because it looked interesting. Wife and I shared nachos (largest that I have seen anywhere). They were offering $3 Coronas, this changed about every 30 minutes. We had fun watching the game and people on the strip.
