“Was not one of my top 10”

A friend of our was looking for pub food so we decided to try this place. Not only was it extremely noisy but the food was average and overprice by a large margin. In simple terms I won't go back

“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013

We picked up a coupon for 2 for 1 draft or well drinks inside Monte Carlo casino so decided to give it a try. Restaurant was quite busy but we were seated quickly & orders were taken quickly. Food came out in good time - I had a salad & husband has tacos & we both loved the food. Server was nice but disappeared for quite awhile while we were eating & waited awhile to get the bill to pay. Overall was good & would go back.

“So noisy and with service so poor we left before they took our order”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

This is the first time I recall making an open table reservation and leaving because the maitre d' was so rude, the wait to be acknowledged at the table and the noise level so unpleasant that we left before we ordered. We are big fans of good Mexican food. We saw nothing on this menu that enticed us to stay.

“Great food, shady service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

We ate here while staying at the Monte Carlo. The atmosphere was great, and I really enjoyed the music (rock). The menu did not have much selection. I ordered the skirt steak nachos ($20) which were fantastic, but big enough for 2 people. My pina colada was $15, and it was good but fairly generic. Be advised, if you use a Monte Carlo food voucher at this restaurant and spend over the voucher's amount, DO NOT pay the extra in cash; pay with your credit card. We found out the next day (when we checked out) from the hotel that Diablo's staff is notorious for pocketing that extra cash and still charging the overage to your room. OVERALL: I agree with other posters. It was good but not a must-go-place.

“The atmosphere was perfect, with great food and drinks!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I loved this place! Great food, with large portions! We ordered a nachos and a picture of a mixed drink to share...then sat back and just people watched! A great location directly on the strip! Great atmosphere and service!
