This place is nasty and noisy. People tend to congregate outside in the "courtyard" all night and the rooms have no soundproofing so sleep is hard to come by. The room featured a nice bed but the bathtub finish was "flaking" and the tv was small and old. The casino is horribly smoky but adequate in size. The only redeeming feature of this place is the Denny's inside which had great and affordable food and friendly service. They also tack on an extra fee of $4.95 for god knows what (a common thing in Las Vegas now); nicer places can be found at the same price.

Room Tip: If you must stay here, try to avoid rooms that face the pool area or small courtyard area as these a...

I attended a conference based at a hotel at the south end of the Strip - for 6 days - and this place was the perfect base. It was just a ten minute brisk walk to the Strip every morning. The location is great. The hotel is nothing fancy - but it was clean, pleasant and had everything I needed. The staff were invariably pleasant and friendly, making me feel welcome. Breakfast was served by the charming folk at Dennys - the in-house eating place (thank you Iris). I was made to feel very welcome - there's a personal touch which I suspect may lack in some of the bigger, flashier hotels. Yes, there was sometimes a bit of noise late at night - the rooms are not soundproofed as well as they might be, but come on, this is Vegas, and at the price, you're not paying for complete perfection.
Don't expect grandeur or luxury, but do expect a friendly, clean, convenient base for a trip to Vegas, and this place won't disappoint you.

Very pleasant stay. Dave at the check in was very helpful and knowledgeable.
That's the way to avoid long lines. The car parked close to the room beats the long walks to the parking garage in the major casinos..We'll do it again.

We spent three days here and were very happy. The total bill was about $100 and included breakfast at denny's on the property every morning. (Choice of three entrees, but a variety) The pool looked great but it was January so we didn't get in! The hot tub unfortunately was closed for two of the three days we were there and my tired feet would have really appreciated it being open!

My company is based in Palm Springs but more than half of our work is in Las Vegas. We have been booking rooms here almost every week for many years. The rooms are clean, the rates are affordable, parking is ample and secure but the staff here at Days Inn is what keeps us coming back. My two favorite receptionists Rachel and Bobby along with the entire front desk crew are like a welcome wagon of warmth, smiles and subtile exchanges that make being away from home not like being away from home. Room Tip: I like the 200 series upstairs. It is quiet with access to the lobby and restaurant.

I had stayed here once before, several years ago, before Days Inn took over the Wild Wild West. Then it was a tad rundown, but still decent. Now, it is SO much better! The bed was so incredibly comfortable, and the tub was as well. We had a room that faced the pool. It was pretty quiet, except for the occasional door closing or voices as people walk by the room. It is in the perfect location - just off the strip, and not far from basic services you may need. Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Albertsons, and everything else you could need are all conveniently located just down Tropicana a couple of blocks. Also, the desk staff is excellent. They are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. The free Denny's breakfast is a great perk to staying here. For every person every day of your stay they give you vouchers for a free grand slam and a free cup of coffee. We really enjoyed not having to figure out where to have breakfast every day. Parking is easy to navigate as well. No problem with anythign during our stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: I would recommend rooms that face the pool. The rooms that face the small street were noisier and t...

FamilyVanMetre, thank you for the review. Being a long time guest, I'm glad you see the positive changes we've made over the last 2 years. New beds, high-speed WiFi, breakfast, coffee, and new linens are a few of the new items since becoming a Days Inn property. Hope to see you this summer, we have some music options at the pool this year that will make it an even better experience for you.
