“Nice Location, Great Price!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2014

Went to Las Vegas to do a guys weekend and a fantasy football draft. It was the second time I have stayed at TI, but the first in about 10 years. The location is prefect to getting around the strip. Plenty of lower end food options and snacks. We did do nachos and very strong yards at Señor Frogs one day, and the buffet another. (The Mini Doughnuts at the Buffet are great.)

The rooms were BIG. I expected something more shoebox size for the $90 something we were paying a night over a weekend. The poker room is nonexistent. The table games were good.

We had a cabana at the pool on the last day. The pool was nice, but the service was a little distracted. The host was great, set us up nicely, but we had 3 different servers during the time, and the frequency with which we were visited was a little slow. All in all, it was a good pool, but not one of those "scenes". This was actually a plus for me.

Researched where to stay in Vegas for a couple nights on a trip for a trend's wedding- turned out Treasure Island had the most positive reviews and decent prices. The hotel's website had the best room deals. We ended up upgrading and the website said no more rooms available- so I called the hotel and they were able to book the room I wanted no problem. The rooms are clean and spacious, the view from any side is good- they have no light curtains to block out the city that never sleeps when you actually want some rest. It's closish to many things, the parking is great! ( free parked parking attached to the hotel). Didn't check out the pool or the workout room as planned, but they were generally busy. Wide range of ages, we had a 6 years old with us and we were comfortable having her there for the most part. Senior frogs is expensive and the food sucks, the buffet food sucks and cost $25-$30 per person, if you're not completely into casinos and gambling I'd choose this one. and I'd stay here again if I ever had to go back.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a petite suite cause we ends dup having to bring a kid along- 2 bathrooms, 1 king bed...

My husband and I stayed here in Jan 2014 for my first trip to Vegas. We got a great package deal for Treasure Island. My husband was excited. His favourite part of his past Vegas trips was the Pirate shop. We were talking to the cab driver on our way to the hotel from the airport and he informed us that the pirate show was gone... total bummer considering it was still advertised on the website. The hotel was by far the smokiest hotel we wandered through. The room was nice. We had a view of the Venetian that was gorgeous. You could hear everything in the hallways, but we weren't in our room a ton so not the end of the world by any means. Senor Frogs in the hotel was AWESOME. Gilleys also looked like a riot but we didn't end up making it there. Found it pretty far from the main/middle part of the strip. All in all our stay was good but unless the deal was amazing, probably wouldn't stay again - main reason being the location - would rather stay in the middle of the strip.

We made a few reservations under my name for our group. When we arrived we were only able to get two rooms close together the others were on various floors. We checked in at 130 so I was hoping since it was early we would have a better chance at getting them close together. The rooms were great. The bathroom was clean with nice fixtures. The room offered a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing board, and a refrigerator. Our view was of a roof top but that's because we were only on the 5th floor. I like the selection on restaurants and the casino was fun. Overall good stay.

Hotel is convenently located to everything. Rooms are clean and nice. Check-In and Check-out was easy. We were on 35th floor. Very nice view with an express elevator that only goes to the top floors. Appreciated security at elevators checking room keys. Only complaint would be the prices of the drinks at the pool. Very expensive. Walgreens accross the street.

Room Tip: Higher floors have express elevators and great views.

My wife and I have been here many times, we have stayed a few times as well. The first thing i noticed no more pirate show outside. They opened Senior frogs nice place to grab a drink and some food. They made some changes to the Casino floor as well. We had to get a new card, not sure who is running this place now, it was the MGM at one time. We did play some slots and we had fun, we did not loose here, better then most casino's on the strip. The drink service was slow, the place had a nice crowd.

Treasure island is right opposite Venetian, almost in the center of the strip where most of the action happens. So location is great. Rooms were really nice... I had a room with 2 Queen beds and so lot of space to litter stuff while you are busy exploring Vegas... If you are doing some activities, you will be easily picked up from your hotel as it's very well placed in the center.
The Casino in the hotel is quite nice too... you have loads of free drinks while playing on a table. There a nice restaurants too inside, the buffet place is very good, has such a huge awesome spread of buffet, one meal in the day will keep you stuffed the whole day. There's a pizzeria if you want a quick bite and senor's frog is great to spend the eve dancing...
To add to all, you can just chill in the pool with a Margarita throughout the day when it's hot...
Overall, great place to stay on Vegas strip...
