My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic stay for our wedding anniversary. The room was extremely well kept and the air conditioning worked nicely! The resort location is in the center of the city, which helps with visiting both the north and south sides of the strip. There is a large mall adjacent to the property which is also convenient for food options, shopping, coffee, etc.

Positives: Room quality. Pool atmosphere. Mystere show. Location Location Location. Free tram to the Mirage (which is next to the Forum Shops at CP). Short walk to the new Linq development.

Not our first stay and not our last! Love this place!

I received superior service on check-in from John who asked what sort of room I'd prefer rather than just being told "you're in number xxx". It was a good room with a superb view of the Strip.

I was glad there was a small refrigerator in the room, but was disappointed there was no coffee maker. No, I don't want to go downstairs to pay for a take-away cardboard cup when I can make the coffee to my liking in the room.

There was a range of cafes and restaurants with different cuisines. Another good feature of the ground floor was the well air conditioned casino. There was no cigarette smoke to get up your nose and impregnate your clothes.

Although I didn't get a ticket, the range of entertainment available was great.

We stayed at treasure island over the weekend, i was disappointed to find out they no longer have the pirate show in the front of the hotel that was one of the reasons i wanted to stay in the first place. We got a room on the top floor and the room was nice, no complaints other than do not drink the water out of the faucet. It tasted so badly like chlorine it literally made me sick. Also we ate at the restaurant called Gilliys that they have there and the service was not what is should have been. My husband and i ordered 2 sandwiches when we got there, they brought us one and they argued with my husband on whether or not we ordered one or two sandwiches. Obviously we wanted to we had just landed and were starving., Their customer service was not up to par, we left there knowing they dont think the customer is right.

Room Tip: When you have a room on the very top floor, it sounds all great but really, you have to use a specif...

We booked a good deal that we received via the Players Club email blast. Once we arrived, my "always asking for a better deal" husband asked the Front Desk Clerk if they had any upgrades or special deals they could give to us for our 33rd anniversary. The Clerk was very nice to us and upgraded us to a panoramic view room on the 28th floor, with a view of the Las Vegas Strip, and a bottle of champagne! How Nice! The room was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you'd expect, including a large safe to hold our valuables, and a refrigerator. As Players Club members, we were also offered the choice of paying for the resort fees -- we declined the resort fees. In addition to the great room and champagne, they also gave us a number of coupons to be used at the hotels for various things ($1 off breakfast, 1 free drink, etc). The self-parking was great and easy to access, and the hotel is in a nice location on the strip, next door to the Mirage and Caesar's Palace, and it has a mall right next door.

Room Tip: sign up for player club to get deals and ask for perks when you arrive.

Stayed here as part of a work conference, so didn't have the option to choose hotel. Overall, the room was nice, spacious and comfortable. Nothing spectacular, bathroom smelled a little moldy, I contributed it to the shower curtain as it looked old. Check in process was a little slow. The casino was clean and well laid out. Location is good, towards the north end of the strip directly across from Palazzo and close to Ceasar's. If the rate was right, I would stay here again.

My husband and I decided to get away without kids for the weekend. We live in Los Angeles, so Vegas is a 4 hour car ride and not too bad of a drive if you know when to leave. We arrived for the weekend early Friday afternoon eager to go relax by the pool (it was 106 when we arrived). When we got inside to check in imagine our disappointment when we noticed about 150 people in line in front of us. So immediate frustration set in because I can't understand why hotels in Vegas who constantly have this problem can't figure out a solution to get everyone checked in right away. The line was easily 1 1/2 to 2 hours long. BUT....Treasure Island figured out a way to hook you when you're most vulnerable. The $40 express check in line. Pay an extra $40 and you get buzzed right to the front by-passing the long lines to a special line (kind of like a fast pass at Disneyland). Although I wasn't happy about the $40, I gladly would pay it if it meant saving a couple of hours in line. I still think the hotel should make checking in faster but until they figure that out, the express check in is the way to go.
The Pros about this hotel:
1) Location - located in the middle of the strip
2) The rooms were nice size and beds comfy. Our room was on the 25th floor overlooking the strip so it made for a nice view at night.
3) The elevators are designated by floors so you don't have to wait long
4) It's location puts it right across the street with easy access to the Fashion Mall. We decided to catch a show last minute Friday night and the last call ticket place was a 10 minute walk from our room to the mall.
5) It's smaller than the mega hotels/casinos their building so getting around through the casino to the coffee shop, theatre, etc won't take 40 minutes.

The Cons -
1) The bathrooms in the room were horribly lit.
2) The ventilation isn't nearly as good as the newer hotels so if there's alot of smokers (and there was) breathing might be difficult.
3) There isn't many dining options. After we checked in and made our way down we wanted a quick bite without having to sit in a restaurant. There was pizza and hot dogs.
4) The pool area needs more monitoring. We saw chairs with towels on them for hours without any one coming to use them.
5) Pool service - We used the pool Friday, it was 106 out and saw a server once in 4 hours we were down there.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by Treasure Island and feel it's a great value for what you get. The Mystere Cirque show was awesome even though it's been at Treasure Island for a few years now, it still feels fresh and entertaining. Our room came with 2 tickets and I"m glad as it was well worth it. They have a buffet, a steak house, a coffee shop that doubles as a Vietnamese restaurant, the food looked good but we didn't eat there. The Seafood Shack serving Mojitos I would pass on we stopped in for Happy Hour ordered a Mojito and found it to be drowning in simple syrup. There's a Starbucks located just outside of the hotel that's open 24 hours and there's a walkway to connect you to the mall or to the Venetian across the street. Overall, loved our experience there and would definitely stay again.

Nothing super fancy, but you're in Vegas, you want a clean, spacious room to sleep in, but not stay in, get out there! The room was plenty big, we had 2 queen beds. Everything was quite clean, bathroom plenty big. The location is excellent on the strip, desk is plenty helpful and room service is very quick. Oh, and they have fantastic bloody mary's!

Only negative was the difficulty finding your way OUT of the casino when you come down from the hotel. Once we figured that out we were golden, but took a few.

Would likely stay there again.
