We went to Treasure Island to meet up with family in the beginning of Nov. We had stayed there afew times in the past, quite a number of years ago. It has changed in that time. It needs some work. It appears old and run down in comparison to the other hotels on the strip. The casino is very smokey and seems to attract a younger crowd. I will say that the beds were comfortable and pillows great. But now that the strip has so many different beautiful hotels, I would chose another hotel next visit.

First off I would like to say, it's going to be very hard to try out any other hotel on the Las Vegas strip that is just as affordable and nice as Treasure Island. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the wonderful vanilla aroma in the air. We knew about the pumped oxygen into the casinos, but never thought it would smell so nice. You couldn't even tell there was smoking allowed inside.
We proceeded to check in, but found out that there was a problem with the jacuzzi tub in our room...and the gentleman that was checking us in upgraded us immediately to a 23rd floor suite, (which he said was reserved for VIP's), not sure if this was true, but it sure made us feel special! LOL The friends we were traveling with ended up on a 15th floor room (exact same set up, but not as good of a view). Our view in the evening was incredible (we arrived at night), and when we got up in the morning and opened up the curtains we had a very pleasant surprise of the gorgeous desert mountains included in our view. So AMAZING!!
The rooms are extremely clean; and unlike some of the reviews on here our room was cleaned EVERY day, always new towels and at least twice the linen was changed during our 5 day stay.
Our pool was also open, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Gilley's has AMAZING food (review to come), the casino was very enjoyable, as were some of the slot machines.
Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay here. The only disappointing factor was that the "Sirens of TI" show was closed for maintenance. I would have loved to have seen this show. I guess it just means we will have to make a trip back to Vegas very soon!

Room Tip: The room we stayed in gave us a strip view AND a desert mountain view =) Room 23002

My friends and I stayed at TI in September 2013. We were very pleased with our stay. We loved the spacious room and bathroom! The pool was a blast. They usually had a DJ playing. It's a little far down on the strip, but the location is still pretty central. We were able to check in early; the service was great. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I decided on a last minute weekend in Vegas and chose TI because of the package price they had with a flight from Denver.
The amenities were good; we received 2 free buffets as part of our package. The pool was great! No one there as it was off-season and the pool and hot tub were the perfect temp!
Not a fan of the "mandatory" resort fee of $25 a day as we didn't need to use any of the features (2 for 1 buffet, 2 for 1 drinks, fitness room and internet). Because we had to pay the fee we did take advantage of the 2 for 1 drinks but were charged $25! Outrageous!
The location is towards the end of the strip so to get from TI to MGM or New York, New York, you either have to walk (about 3 miles) or take the bus (small charge) or rail (another small charge). We decided to walk and got in about 25 miles throughout 2 days! Would have liked a location closer to the middle of the strip.

Checked in around 11pm on the 8th, had a great clerk, Chris, who checked us in. At that time of night, there was no line. We used the tv ad special so got some good coupons to use and a good rate. Being a holiday weekend, it was busy in the casino, so had a little wait time on cocktails, really the only time that was an extended wait was Sunday afternoon (due to football possibly). We did have to call security one night due to a large party, being really loud, in the suite next to us. They did quiet down after this. Otherwise, had a nice time (we are in our 40's). The room we had faced the strip and was recently updated it appeared, the bed was awesome, very comfortable! Housekeeping was efficient and polite as well. We will stay there again for sure.

Room Tip: Try not to stay next to a suite on the weekends, you are asking for trouble ;) And a strip view is worth the extra $50.....
