“Great hotel for the price.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

For the price of this hotel I would recommend people to stay here. It was clean, the pool was fun, great location. Definitely worth the value for the money. The only downside of the hotel was that they didn't have many restaurants to choose from and their buffet wasn't that good.

We went lat week to Las Vegas for a trade show. We decided to stay at the TI, which was accross L V Blvd from the Sands convention center. A lot better than the Flamingo which was last years debacle. The room was fine, nice furnishings, new appearance. Actually the only thing that was a negative, most people would like a positive. They gave me an upgraded room that looked at the pirate show! The first real night there, the second, it was time to go to sleep early(still tired) and the show went off twice with cannon fire @ 10 &11:30. Needless to say it was a booming experiance! The restaurants were fine, even saw Mud Wrestling one night at Gillys. A rstaurant on the strip and bar in the hotel.

I stayed at Treasure Island for a bachelorette and it was definitely better than I expected. The rooms were clean, modern and affordable - bonus, they use duvets! The check-in experience was very slow, but they did their best to accommodate moving our three rooms close together during a sold out stay. They even upgraded us for the hassle!
The pool was average (just rows of chairs) but it suited our needs of tanning and a good, close bar - but I am pretty sure the "DJ" just had a playlist since we heard the same songs/mashups two days in a row, but overall good atmosphere.
For location, navigation and hotel amenities, it was excellent. There is a starbucks in the hotel, the spa did a great spray tan and you could actually find your way around. We never tried the restaurants, but they looked decent.
The location on the strip was good! Not right in the middle, but a close walk to everything we wanted to do - especially easy access to a Walgreens.
I would recommend for families, business, or with friends!

Very happy with my stay at the TI. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was very nice and clean, every day. The pool is awesome, close to everything (only word of advice is to stay away from Senior Frogs, the restaurant/bar at TI, it's awful)

Room Tip: Rooms towards the pool have a nice view of the strip.

Checked into TI for what I thought was going to be a 4 night stay. Check in line was long and slow. There were only 4-5 agents available for a line and a half of guests. The process was slow. Room was fair, clean enough, but lot's of dust. No mini bar. Nice enough bathrooms. Pool area was well below average. I was stopped with my drink that I just bought and not allowed to take it to the pool. This left me VERY upset. Small and very little shade available at pool. Casino was dated and quite smokey. I booked the hotel and saved a few $$. Stayed 2 of four nights and decided to check out and go to the Mirage where I had a MUCH better time
Will not repeat, nor recommend, considering their are much better values available

I recently stayed here during a convention. The convention was across the street at The Venetian, as we had several rooms in our group, this was the more economical choice. I stayed in two rooms during our stay, a room with 2 queens on the 32nd floor and a room with a king on the 33rd floor. Once you figured out the elevator system, it was easy - elevators were very prompt and a fast ride. Both rooms were very nice with super comfy beds. The bathrooms were nice size too, with a nice reclining tub that was very welcome after a long day at a trade show booth. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Maid service was good during our stay. I did not gamble on our trip so I can't speak to the casino. We had drinks in several of the bars on property. Also, we must have arrived at an off time, because we did not encounter a long wait at check in. I did see a long line one day when I was down in the lobby and it did look like the check in counter was understaffed at that time. I thought the location on the strip was fine, we walked down to NYNY and back one day and it was a long walk but definitely doable. This hotel is clearly not as themed or elaborate as some of the others on the strip, but what it loses in character and wow factor, it makes up for in the nice rooms and really comfy beds. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice and helpful, a couple of the staff at the Mojito bar were not as friendly.

It is a classical hotel in Vegas: huge hotel in a Y shape with casino, restaurants, shopping mall, outdoors free show and theatre. The rooms are OK in size and facilities, not expensive. Good location. Very long lines at the reception counter.
