“First Time Visit”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

My husband and I traveled to LV for a family reunion. We had never stayed at the TI before. We had made the reservations online, and traveled by car on a very busy weekend. When we arrived, we were expecting a long line, but the line moved quickly as there were enough personel working the check-ins. Unfortunately, our reservation was not correct, but the manager quickly rectified it and gave us an upgrade to a beautiful suite! We would have never been able to get that room otherwise. We were floored at the beauty of the room! However the TV and cable were not working, but with a simple call, both were taken care of. The family reunion went FABULOUS, and on top of that the room, service, and the hotel was just as FAB! thus making our trip a great memory. Thank youo TI, we hope to see you again on our next trip to Las Vegas! Viva Las Vegas! Thank you Mr. Manager for making our trip a very very happy one!

I stayed here March 9th - 11th for NASCAR weekend. This was my first time at this hotel and I booked the room for $100. When I checked in I was surprised by the cost of the resort fee, but didn't think twice because it included Internet access or so I thought. I could not get the Internet to work properly all weekend. The room itself was excellent though. Comfy bed, big tub/shower and I had a great view of the strip without requesting such a view. I would agree with other reviews that the parking is great and the location, although farther north on the strip, is nice. And it is across the street from a mall. The casino was nice except for the $15 minimum hands on black jack and craps. I can see higher wagers on a busy Friday or Saturday, but not at 3 am on a Sunday. I visited 3 of the restaurants, Gilley's, the buffet and the Coffee Shop. Gilley's was great and the Coffee Shop was good as well. The buffet sucked!! Aside from the basics I have no complaints except for the "pirate show". I've seen the show in the past and it was entertaining, but what possessed them to change it to pirates v.s wenches is beyond me. This is a horrible show with bad acting and quite frankly the theme SUCKS! I'd rather watch the porn pushers slap the escort ads they try to hand out. Please TI if you're going to change something let it be the "pirate show".

From the minute I arrived at TI I was thrilled! We were upgraded to a suite at no additional charge and it was like nothing I've ever seen! The room was amazing and overlooked the strip. The hotel offers several good restaurants a large casino, and a few nice gift shops as well. The highlight of my TI experience was the amazing Cirque Du Solei Mystere show! Pure magic! Treasure Island is in the heart of the strip so it was very easy to get around and see the sights. The staff was super friendly and helpful and everything I saw was up to date and clean. I'm very glad my first trip to Vegas included Treasure Island!

Stayed here for Conf at a lower conference rate. The rooms are big enough, but they are really showing age and wear by now. The whole place kind of smelled musty. The best part about this hotel is the location right next to mirage across from palazzo. The casino was not that great either, just seemed lame compared to the newer ones. But, the value for what you get which is a clean room in a good location can t be beat.

We stayed at the hotel from March 13-16 2013. We arrived at 11am and had to wait in the check in line for about 20 minutes. Got a room on the 15th floor overlooking the pool and the strip. The room was clean and didn't have any funny smells. The maids cleaned it everyday and the staff were very nice. The pool area is very nice and is good for everyone in the family. In the afternoon there is also a DJ at the pool and we would clearly hear the music in our room. Our room was also equipped with a mini fridge which was a nice surprise. My only complaint is that the shower head was stationary and couldn't be moved which would have been nice.

The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable enough. The resort fee for internet access is annoying but I like the option of being able to not pay the extra. My biggest complaint is the noise in the room. The hotel is right by a train track where trains blow their horns several times per night. Even though the beds were comfortable, I did not get a good night's sleep because of the trains. We were on the 23rd floor facing north. If you can get a great rate, it's worth it but if you are paying a lot you are better off going somewhere else. The Coffee Shop was expensive for breakfast and when we tried to extend our stay for 1 day, we couldn't because they were booked for the following night.

The atmosphere is great and they have really convenient parking. My hotel room was comfortable, and the gambling was great. It was NASCAR weekend in Vegas so it was really crowded but, we were still able to find a table to play on when we wanted to.
