“Unless you must stay on the strip and can's afford anywhere else...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2014

My husband was at a conference and we only had one car so we chose to stay here so he could walk to Planet Hollywood where the conference was, while I used the car for our kids. This is right in the middle of all the action and is a cheap way to be there if that is your thing. It was very noisy. People were walking by and through the parking lot at all hours and you can hear it all. Construction, just outside the back of our room, started somewhere between 4-5 am. The walls are basically just cinderblock ( you can see that due to the small window in the bathroom) so you can hear everything. You can see light coming from under the doors so of course that doesn't stop much of the noise either. The room seemed clean. There was no fridge or microwave. Very hard pillow. Thank goodness we brought our own. Breakfast was not worth it. I took the kids the first day but didn't bother the 2nd and 3rd days. They have 2 choices of cereal, some instant oatmeal, some bread, limited fruit, some pastries, juice, milk and coffee. If you are young, no kids, and want to be partying on the strip and are on a tight budget, this is the place for you. It worked for our needs at the time, but I wasn't impressed with it, although I wasn't expecting much. We would try to do something different next time.

OK, so no one is expecting chocolate on the pillows when you book a room at a Travelodge. What you do expect is the minimum, which is a clean place to sleep, in relative quiet. This place offers neither. As to cleanliness, the maintenance/housekeeping level of expertise indicates that they have spent their entire careers working in yurts. The dirty paint on the bathroom door is so thick it's ready to peel off. All the hardware has paint smeared on it indicating that it must be too hard to remove prior to painting. The code required exhaust fan in the bathroom must have failed and was replaced with a non-rated can light. When the light over the mirror in the bathroom failed they removed it and put a blank cover plate over the hole (well, almost over the hole). Caulking was done over dirt and the beds must be really heavy as they painted around the headboards. Do yourself a favor and don't look behind the nightstand. On two of the three nights we were there (and we only stayed because all the other hotels were booked) a large band of young, very drunken men partied until well after 0300 in the parking lot. Though the office is manned 24-7, no one bothered to stop the noise. And of course the room was noisy. When there's a 1/4" space around the exterior door, in which you can actually see daylight, there's no stopping the noise.
Do not stay here if you don't want to walk into your motel room and immediately think you should look for bedbugs before sitting down your suitcase. This is, however, a dandy place if you're a gaggle of 21 year-old guys who want to get mind-numbingly drunk and not have to worry about your surroundings. Don't worry, if you vomit on the walls, someone will paint over it.

Exactly as advertised. Nice place very reasonable rates AND super friendly and attentive staff. Location is ideal, tucked away and surprisingly quiet despite being right on the strip. Just an old fashioned motel experience with a pool right out your door. No trapesing around hotels/elevators etc. loved it, highly recommended

There are no scores low enough. It's dirty and noisy. The pillow is a hard square, there's a 1/4" gap around the exterior door that lets in noise, light, and weather. It appears that the last time it was renovated was the 1980s and it appears it was last cleaned well shortly after that. Please stay somewhere else
