I stayed here because a friend booked this place for a seminar he attended at the Aria across the street. The hotel was definitely a no frills place, but probably because most people who stay here probably are out at night on the town.
Unfortunately, my friend only booked a single, so I rented a pullout. The room itself was fine, though no fridge and other amenities. Breakfast was all right, nothing spectacular. Internet was crappy though. Better to use your data plan or something else. The bath/shower looked old, but it did its job. Again, this place was all about location, so if you don't want to drive, this is right there on the strip.
Again, if this was my booking, I would've booked somewhere further out, but hey, it's Vegas.
Nice quiet room with enough space for comfort. Easy access to the Strip from here. Found out at Check-in, they are not supposed to have locals stay there, so we can't return. No restrictions about this on the website.
We have stayed here before and came back for another visit. On check in the check in person (Star I think her name was), was on a personal phone call and decided to carry on with that call for some time whilst we were waiting. We were given our key but when we got our luggage to the room it was 2 doubles and we had booked a king. We were rudely treated when we went back to change. After some time she eventually gave us the room we booked (2 doors down) and when we got back to the origina tol room get our luggage there was a man in the room (hotel staff) going through our belongings! The internet did not work at all. Throughout the weekend all routers were blocked for access at all times, the toilet in the room leaked on the bathroom floor. The hot faucet was wobbly and not connected to the basin in the bathroom. Oh and the poolside patio room has had the gate access to the pool removed so it like sitting in a prison cell when on the patio (last time we stayed here there was gate to the pool). Overall a poor room, a poor experience and one not to be repeated on our next visit as there are better places available for similar rates.
Thank you for your feedback. I am certainly sorry your stay was not as expected. Please know that this is not our normal guest experience. We take our responsibilities to provide comfortable accommodations very seriously. When you arrived at our Travelodge, Star was working to resolve an internet issue. Unfortunately, our provider’s server failed which made internet connection impossible. Also, our employees always inspect vacant rooms for status reporting to housekeeping. This time, he was too quick and he was trying to determine whose luggage was in the vacant room. Our employees are normally very customer service oriented, so I reviewed your situation with everybody to ensure nobody else feels they are treated rudely. Maintenance has already addressed the bathroom items you mentioned. Although the patios had gates in the past, the city of Las Vegas has strict safety regulations regarding pool access and we had to remove the gates from the patios. Many of our guests still appreciate these upgraded rooms with outside patios and a view of the pool. Guests can now relax in our new cabanas at the pool too. Our rates are very reasonable and include continental breakfast, in-room coffee and a location directly on the World Famous Las Vegas Strip. Thank you for taking the time to report these issues so we could address them.
