This is our second extended stay at the Carriage House Las Vegas. Not only is the property close to the main strip but being a low rise, accommodation only, venue there are no lines waiting to check-in or check-out. The Mission Statement of the Carriage House is to make every guest feel at home and they certainly do that.

We have our favourite suite which is on the opposite side of the building from the current new construction and we had no issues with noise. Indeed we had total quiet which was great for that odd lay in after a late night out. The pool is fantastic and being a small property never seemed to be over crowded with annoying children. Carriage House has become our home whenever we visit and will continue to be so - it is quality and value for money.

We stayed here for three nights and found it to be a very good option.
It was nice to be able to escape the madness of the strip and yet still be only a five minute walk a way from the main action.
The hotel is a block away from the busiest part of the strip.
The service was, as is usual in the US, very good and the room was spotless. Very spacious, and although we weren't in one of the refurbished rooms, did not seem worn or particularly dated.
Good little pool to take a dip in, and to be honest we were to busy to check out any of the other services.
Would definitely stay here again.

stayed here for 3 nights. nice quite little hotel literally within walking distance to the strip, miracle mile shops where across the street. Walgreens, PH, mcdonald's and the best little 24hr smoothie place literally up the road, so the location was pretty good. SOFT feather down pillows, like heaven and we had like 6 of them! :) the bed was comfy, no problems with aching backs in the morning. it was clean and quiet, insulation was very good cause i did not hear a peep from my neighbors. the couch was also comfy for the night we decided just to lounge and relax to take a break from the chaos. extra blankets/pillows in the closet! just f.y.i. and house keeping was VERY polite, VERY VERY polite! AND one plus, they had Q-tips!

here we go...

when i first arrived around 1130, the women at the front desk where VERY rude, they spoke to me in such a degrading manner, like i was some dumb teenager or lost child, or like the way your grandma speaks to you if you've done something wrong. i was up since 5:30 AM- CENTRAL TIME, i was exhausted by the time my plan landed. i tried my best to be polite.

the person who helped us with show tickets, i think her name was Pam, she was SO sweet. Very nice woman and very helpful!

i was not given one of the newly renovated rooms, but i sure wish i did. If you have the older rooms, which you will be able to tell by the room itself, look at the shower head. my shower head was calcified, all of the little water heads where broken off, and there was a crusty yellow layer surrounding it. When turning on the water, the pressure was zero to none, i couldnt even take a shower, i had to take a bath for those 3 nights i was there, and i did not dare to turn on the shower head because i had no idea what the crusty yellow stuff was.

I thought it was only my room so i went to my parents hotel room which was 3 floors below mine and their bathroom was TINY like a 3x5 space, and the shower head was even WORSE! the water would just shoot out all directions, the shower head was completely white from hard water deposits. i was so embarrassed that i suggested we stayed there. And their water pressure was ridiculously intense and the water was SO SO SO HOT! like burning hot. and their fridge was warm, even turned to the coolest setting, it didnt go down below 76 degrees

there may have been some problems with the flooring or the door it self because if you open it a certain width [not even all the way] it would get caught on the floor and drag, or some of the room doors would not shut all the way and the only way to get it to clothes completely was to literally ram in to it.

i got what i paid for is all i can say, but i may just pay more to stay on the actual strip next time, MGM was offering a room for $66 a night for my next trip.

Room Tip: ask for one of the new rooms

Stayed here via RCI and was so impressed. It's in a perfect location, literally two minutes from side exit of Miracle Mile. Free WIFI and spotless one bed unit. The kitchen and all areas were modern and clean with towels changed daily. On first arrival we thought the pool small but it's perfect and didn,t get overcrowded like other strip hotels. There is work ongoing at Marriot but we never heard any noise whatsoever. We were also allowed to use the Marriot pool as we did find the sun went off our pool by 2.30, however theirs is more of a dip pool and quite small. After going in various casino,s with smoke and noise The Carriage House was lovely to return to for peace and quiet. The staff were excellent and other patrons very hospitable. We had booked our last night at Planet Hollywood and what a mistake. We should have stayed where it was clean, not congested or noisy and what is a truly lovely hotel! Also not ripped off for arriving early, room ready and greeted warmly.....well done Carriage House...

Room Tip: Rooms at front have view of New York New York

my wife and I stayed there for a month (RCI) from june 8th -July 7th this year having been there before it is clean tidy and the staff are very accomodating there are no hidden charges internet available in the foyer and also wi-fi in room security is excellent nice pool (although small) and tennis court we were there through the July 4th weekend and it was very busy and the hotel was full the beds are the best we have ever slept in A/C worked well considering we were in a heatwave (118 deg day and over 100 at night) nice and quiet too considering you are only a short walk from the strip next to planet hollywood the small convienience store had most things to get you by bread/milk/eggs etc the kitchen was well equipted and washer/dryer on the landing the only gripe was the settee and chairs they were very low and soft making them a little uncomfortable but you dont go to vegas to watch TV (TV in bedroom also and a safe in the room) (no charge) we will be staying there again for another month next year there was construction going on at the marriot opposite which we were overlooking but very little noise even with our window open (we both smoke) I would highly reccomend this place as a stay in Vegas just a few paces from the madness that is the strip having been to vegas on 9 occaisions this time we didnt bother with the casinos on the strip but went out of town the green valley ranch at henderson is really nice and as they say the slots are a bit looser we won a few hundred $ on a few occaisions also south point on LV blvd south is good too we drove over 1000 miles whilst we were there searching out different places and it was nice to come back to a clean and pleasent room every night or early morning

Room Tip: go for a room with a full kitchen if you like to cook and eat whenever you want pool view is probabl...

I spent a long weekend here with my significant other. We were given the newly renovated rooms that were not facing the Marriott construction site. The noise didn't bother us at all, in fact, we didn't hear anything. The rooms were well kept, very clean, and the air conditioning and plumbing all worked fine. Rooms were very spacious as well. This is a little hotel tucked between the MGM Suites and Marriott Hotel. From the outside there's not much to write home about but if you're someone who's trying to just spend a weekend to relax in Vegas, this place is for you. No gaming, no resort fee, free parking, and serves its purpose as a boutique hotel. It's obviously on the smaller side compare to the larger hotel chains and resorts but since we hardly spent anytime inside the hotel, we rather spend our money on other things.

Just stayed 1 night while seeing Vegas for the second time. It's a perfectly located hotel...away from the noise of the strip and just around the corner from it when you are out walking etc. It's up the side street from the Harley Davidson cafe. Our room was large and it had a kitchen complete with utensils and even real glasses! Bathroom was fine with a powerful shower head. The bed was big too and comfortable. Rooms arent completely sound proof and as this is Vegas there was plenty of noise from guests returning to their rooms late at night and leaving early in the morning. We had sheltered parking too and didn't need to move the car from check in to check out time...a relief as driving on the strip can be a bit scary and manic! There is no breakfast provided so we dined at Harley Davidson...a bit pricey at 36 dollars for two. The 18 per cent tip was included. Not sure I like the idea of a compulsory tip! Breakfast was very good though.
So, yes I would say that this hotel is ideal for a trip to Vegas where you tend to be on your feet for long periods and it's good to know that the hotel is nearby even if the strip is long and it can take a while to return to the hotel!

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the Marriott building works next door especially between Mon and Fri.
