This hotel is very modern, from the decor to the in room technology!
We stayed in a deluxe king room which is the basic room, on the 23rd floor which was also a smoking room, but it is far from basic! but it was 2 minute walk from the lift! the bed is absolutely huge! and very comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud!! plenty of channels on the HD tv not that i had much time to watch them! there was plenty of room in the cupboards for clothes etc..
the bathroom was awesome, a huge shower with a very deep bath! and dual sinks with granite worktops!
The hotel is absolutely massive so there is plenty to do and see, although the dining and shopping there is very high end for example Gucci,Prada and Louis Vuitton but to name a few! which is slightly out of my price range and the restaurants arent that badly priced but the food was good food, by that i mean not burger and chips! lol although we had a meal in Todd English PUB and it came to $47 for the two of us for a main and two drinks which i thought was pretty good considering we were in vegas!
The casino again is very big and the smell bout the place is also nice, they must pump something through the air con, smells kind of like chocolate. It is expensive to gamble here compared to somewhere like the flamingo, for example blackjack min were mostly $50 upwards although i did see $10 and roulette $10 - $15 dollars, as for the slots there are 1cent - $5 machines so thats ok, and it was fairly easy to get waitress service, just tip em a dollar a drink if you do, just to make sure they come back!
This is situated where all the action is so location is perfect! only downside is that it is a bit of walk to the strip, maybe 3-4 mins, although we found a shortcut which was through the crystals shopping mall and that brings you out on the bridge that takes you over to planet hollywood
This was my wedding/honeymoon and on our wedding day our hair dryer broke so i went to the concierge who were great and they had a new one to our room within 20 mins, which i thought was very prompt considering the size of the hotel!
Only snag i had was i made an international call from my room for about 17 mins, now i knew this would cost a lot maybe 50 bucks or so, but they charged me $110 and another $22 for a 4 second call! but when i complained they waivered the $22 and halved the $110 so i couldnt really complain!
Also i called 911 by mistake lol trying to figure out how to make a local call, the hotel rang immediately and said they would send security up just to check on things and they were there within a couple of mins! which is good i suppose! they were great about it though and said it wasnt the first haha!
All the staff were very polite and a pleasure to deal with!
Bottom Line, i wanted something a bit special and this was it! i would definately stay here again without a shadow of a doubt
