“Aria Corner Suite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

This was my first time staying at this hotel, but have been to Vegas several times this year alone - During this trip I stayed in one of the Corner Suites, so I am not sure about their standard rooms - The Suite I had was very spacious, and had amazing views of both the Strip and the Mountains - Extremely clean, attentive staff and great bed - Would have to say that it is one of the nicer properties I have stayed at, and I have stayed at theHotel, Palazzo and Bellagio, which I consider to be some of the nicest properties on the strip

We booked here on recomendation. A weeks family holiday with birthday celebration.
Although our rooms wern't togther which was a shame that was about the only down side.
It was a busy weekend and the check in seemed to take a while but we were also tired after a long haul flight. A fabulous modern environment at the heart of the strip. You wont find the cheapest food, drink or tables here but its classy and a very nice place to stay.

Check in was reasonably quick, got a room with a view of the strip. Was a great first experience. Everything was classy and clean. Walked into the room, lights turn on, blinds open, everything is automated. Was such a treat. Bed was comfortable, quiet. Loved the view from the 38th floor. Felt like luxury, and the price was decent. The casino didn't seem crazy. Ate quite late, and had the most awesome BLT sandwich and soup. Was soooo good. So much going on. Didn't get to the pool area, but we are booked for another night before going back, and looking forward to check out more of the area and hotel.

Our flight was delayed several times, so it was almost midnight by the time we arrived at the hotel. Despite this, the check-in line was overflowing. We stood in line for about 45 minutes, waiting to check-in. Throughout our stay, I observed that this was the norm. The check-in line was always about twenty people deep at all times of the day and night.

The room and view of the strip was fantastic. I found the room to be incredibly clean, modern and sophisticated. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the best out of all hotels I've visited in the USA. My only grievances were that the bathroom wasn't clean upon arrival, with hair from the previous guest still in the bath. Despite the room being 'cleaned' every day, this hair remained there for our entire stay. Also, there was a three-phase power transformer visible directly below the headboard of the bed, about 30cm from my head. It was very unnerving to have that much power passing by so close to bed linen.

The spa was fantastic. My partner and I indulged in a massage and were very pleased. The service was good, however like every other area of the hotel, you get the overwhelming sense that you are just a number and being pumped through the system. We also made use of the salon and were very pleased with our respective haircuts.

We attended both of the buffet restaurants each morning, but we were unable to try them out as the line to get into the buffet's were always about 50 people deep and not moving. The line to get into the café was also just as long. We ended up getting food to go at their patisserie each morning. Even this was painful, as we had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to order and then another 10 minutes waiting for our order to be prepared.

The location of the resort is just perfect. It is dead centre in the middle of town on The Strip with everything just a short walk or complimentary monorail ride away. With the Bellagio and Vedara resorts to the left, the Monte Carlo and New York New York resorts to the right and Paris and MGM across the road, you couldn't ask for a better location.

The business centre was well equipped and the staff were very helpful, however the prices were unbelievable.. $15.00 to fax or scan one page. The complimentary self-parking was greatly appreciated, as was the complimentary Wi-Fi. The only real grievance I had with this place was the ridiculous prices. The room prices are dirt cheap and are great value, but once you walk in the doors, everything is 500% more expensive than normal. Absolutely everything in the resort from food and drink to the spa treatments are an absolute rip off. Be prepared.

Unfortunately check-out was just as painful as check-in. I had to wait in a line for over 30 minutes just to get to the front desk and check-out. No matter which area of the resort you go to, they have an uncanny ability to make you feel like you are just a number or are being herded like cattle. There is no personal touch.

When leaving, I brought our car around and asked the bell staff to bring out our bags. After waiting for about 10mins, I finally saw our bags being wheeled towards us by a bell man. When halfway towards us, another man approached him and offered him cash to skip the long taxi line. Our bell man left our bags unattended and walked the other man to the front of the taxi line on the other side and put him in a cab. Being in a rush, we walked over and wheeled our own bags to our car. The bell man then approached and yelled at us for pushing his luggage cart without permission, before dropping our bags on the ground and walking off.

Overall, the service was very average, but the facilities, the location and the room itself were fantastic. If you can handle a long lines and rip-off prices at every turn, then I would highly recommend this place.

The luxuries of Aria should be experienced by all. The beds at Aria are some of the best in the world. Service is incredible - everyone from the front desk, concierge, bell service, casino operations, and the restaurant staff are all great. The management of Aria obviously spends a significant amount of time training the staff on how to take care of their guests.

The only complaint that I have is that the chairs / couches in the room face inside - which makes sense for watching TV, but often I find myself turning the chairs around so I can look out over the strip at night. I'm sure the maid service doesn't care for this; but it's nice to be on the 51st floor and look down at the strip and watch the planes land at airport.

Very nice hotel. Was here for a meeting and hotel provided food - all of which was very good although a bit repetitive over a few days. Room very modern and spacious with automatic curtains. Very high-tech. Line at check in was very long.

She loves, loves, loves the Aria. The rooms are modern (Microsoft Sync), the beds are extremely comfortable, and stay includes two tickets to breakfast buffet (you will pay the difference for lunch or dinner).

Room Tip: Ask to be shown where your room is in relation to the elevator to avoid long walk.
