I was truely amazed from check in to the rooms to the art but what truly made it great was the housekeeping I am pretty particular about my cleanliness and I inspected everything and I was very pleased. I then had a nice young lady (supervisor) knock one my door and asked if we needed anything and perfect timing because we forgot to pack toothbrushes she was so polite and brought them back personally. I told her how great the hotel was and she was able to even get me to see the zarkana show. I love this placemy new favfavorite place. Bellagio move over :-D

We stayed at the Aria while visiting Las Vegas for the first time. The hotel was beautiful, from the fountain out front to the modern hotel rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything that was needed. The food was a little expensive but well worth the price. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The casino was not very smokey compared to some of the other hotels on the strip. The pool area was huge but also allowed plenty of shaded areas with either trees or at the bar area. The location has easy access to walk down the strip, or easily catch a cab. we definitely would come back here.

My husband and I decided to go to Vegas for 31st wedding anniversary. neither of us had ever been to Vegas so needless to say I spent hours online searching for just the right place to stay, eat etc. Well I decided to try Aria even though it had positive and negative reviews and all I can say is from me all you will hear is positive.
Liked how it looked from the outside, walked in and no odor and seemed very clean. Check in was already backed up even though it was only around 10 am (I was just glad they did not say come back at 4 when it is check in time) I had requested a high floor on comments when reserving the room but I am not certain that anyone really reads these. Well our room was ready and it was on the 16th floor out of 54 floors and the check in person said the only way we could possibly stay higher is if we wait for a different room to be cleaned. That was our first gamble ha and boy did it pay off. Yes we did not get contacted until almost 4 that the room was ready but we are so thankful that we waited. We walked into our deluxe city view room that we had paid for and it was like walking into an imax theater. We had floor to ceiling city views that were spectacular in the day and even more fabulous at night. Loved the room decor and arrangement, very large room. Loved the comfortable chairs that we turned everyday to face the wonderful view. Plenty of space for unpacking clothes drawers and closets! The hotel was CLEAN, FRIENDLY and just great I do not think we could have stayed anywhere that would have been even equal and definitely not nicer. The location is fabulous also. We walked everywhere we went and we went inside every hotel on the strip (even down on the North end....Circus Circus is a must see if you are over 50 for nostalgia at its best) Thank you Aria and especially Paul at check in and Angela at check out for making our trip unforgettable. Keep up the good job and I promise you if we ever get back to Vegas we will be back at the Aria.

Room Tip: pay for city view and ask for high floor We were on the 51st floor and it was unbelievable. Our ro...

We stayed at the Aria for 3 nights in August in a corner suite and wouldn't stay here again unless we received a deep discount. Though the room that we stayed in really was lovely, there were too many other negatives that offset any advantage.

1) We arrived at 6pm and waited in line for 30 minutes to check in. I realize that this is a problem that many of the large hotels have, but it seems that this could have been better planned and organized.
2) Drinks at the pool were garbage, and we were dumb enough to try several on different days (at a cost of $25 each) before determining that we should just stick to the $15 beers. Literally asked the bar tender for the strongest drink possible several times, and still ended up with a huge glass of ice with a tiny bit of alcohol for $25 (plus tip).
3) Most of the staff sucked. I was surprised how unfriendly the folks guarding the elevators were (never so much as a smile from any of them), the pit bosses, the dealers, etc. Just not a lot of nice people working there, with the exception of the cleaning staff - they did a great job and were really pleasant.
4) The vibe here wasn't ours for sure. We arrived and walked down to the casino in shirts and shorts and felt incredibly uncomfortable. The staff at the hotel didn't seem to like us walking around their casino wearing casual clothes. This might be our fault for staying at a more upscale place instead of the mirage or something, but still odd to get the looks and unwelcoming feeling from so many of the staff members. It's important to note too that even though we wore tshirts and shorts our first night (which we didn't again), they weren't wrinkled/dirty and we didn't look like we were in bad shape. We really noticed how much different/better the service and staff were when we hung out at the MGM, Monte Carlo, etc.
5) All of the food was overpriced and nothing was very good. We ate at the Lemongrass, The Buffet for breakfast, etc. The buffet was (not kidding) $75 for 2 adults with drinks (we wanted a bloody mary or two, so you had to pay maybe an extra $15 for 'unlimited' drinks each). The food sucked, and our server might have come around twice in an hour so that $15 got us each one drink. It was 8am on Tuesday and not busy down there yet either, which makes it that much more frustrating.

Overall, just didn't care for the vibe or people here. We really regret not just getting a room at one of the other older hotels just for the better service we would have received. Good learning experience.

We stayed there for 4 nights, during our 3 week vacation across USA in july/august.

We loved our stay in the Aria, for the last 4 days of our trip.

The hotel is pretty new, very modern and clean. Made with a great architectural design.

The check in and check our process was done very fast and effciiently. I appreciate we were given the option of not to block the 130/day incidentals fee from our visa card. Not all the hotels in Vegas do that. We simply had to pay everytime we ate at the hotel, which was fine for us.

The Thai restaurant and the buffet were very good. But we found the food in the 24 hour cafe was very mediocre, considering the prices. I found much more fair priced the Thai restaurant, evern though it was more expensive...the quality is much higher.

The Rooms are great ! Very big and clean, with plenty of space for everything. The shower and bath tub were great too, and the housekeeping staff was very efficient. They cleaned the room instantly, any time of the day, and always doing a good job. We were in the 28th floor.

The Casino is very nice and big, but there is much less beverage service compared to other hotels in the Strip that we went to at night (Caesar's, MGM, Encore, Mandalay...).

The pools are also very nice, and with plenty of space for everyone. The service though was awful at the pool bar, incredibly slow and with unpolite staff.

The concierge staff were also very helpful, and got us great seats for the shows we saw.

Overall, this is a great hotel, where i would definitely come back, and i recomend it to everyone, no matter the age, and no matter what you want to do in Vegas (Party, relax, gamble, eat well,etc...).

We has a two-day family stop-over in Vegas in August 2013, and booked two connecting rooms (getting a fantastic rate on their website). Check-in was effortless and super-quick; rooms very well appointed and with a great view over the strip (39th floor). Nice amenities, super-technological lighting and blinds etc. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. Lovely outdoor pool space. Only drawback was the food - we arrived late and thought we'd give the buffet a try: how wrong we were! The tone was much more like a corporate canteen than a five-star hotel. Bare tables, dirty crockery, sloppy and disgruntled service, and the food offer was certainly below the standard one would expect of a five-star. Only explanation is that it perhaps caters to a different clientèle (i.e. occasional visitors) than the ones who stay in the hotel? Needless to say we did not eat there again! Other than the food, a lovely stay.
