“Worked for us”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

We had two standard rooms with two queens. They initially had the rooms adjacent to each other, but told us we needed to wait an hour because one room wasn't ready. We went back an hour later and they told us, we needed to wait another hour. So we just took another room on the same floor.

The rooms were large and clean.

We took advantage of the pool, arcade, and bowling alley along with the restaurants and casino. It was a lot of walking to get from one area to another and generally you have to walk through the smokey casino to get anywhere.

Overall, I think it was a good value. Las Vegas was hot and crowded. I prefer a natural area to a big city. I doubt we will be back, but we did enjoy our time.

Stayed here for 4 nights recently for a convention and it served it's purpose. I had never stayed off of the strip in Las Vegas before, but they do provide a free shuttle that drops off and picks up at the side entrance of Bally's (seemed to run every 30-45 minutes when I was there). The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the pool area was large and very nice. I ate at their sushi restaurant, TGIF's, and Fuddrucker's and Sbarros in the food court are also open for later night food cravings (but I did think the Sunday morning buffet was pretty pricey for what you got by Vegas buffet standards). As for being removed from the action of the strip, it really wasn't that bad with the shuttle, just know a cab to or from the strip will cost around $20 one way. My only word to the wise when staying at The Orleans is to put your "Do Not Disturb" sign out when you go to bed. The cleaning staff was always entering the room anywhere between 8:15am and 8:40am, they start early here for Vegas. So, if you want to sleep in after a late night or get ready in the morning undisturbed, put that sign out the night before. For the price and location, I would definitely recommend staying at one of the nicer hotels directly on the strip if you're visiting for a vacation. But, for my purposes, The Orleans got the job done.

The only reason I stayed at this property was because it was with a large group. It is dirty and so smoky you can barely breath not only in the casino, but throughout the entire property. Food is also very marginal. A low budget operation all around!

Whenever I'm in Vegas I stay here. The rooms are comfortable (but stay away from come on to upgrade not worth it) and roomy. There's movies and a bowling to do when not in the mood for gambling or catching a show. Everyone is very friendly

What an amazing hotel. Great prices. Clean, very family friendly. Our teenage boys had a blast.
Bowling, arcade and $5 movies all day on Tuesday. I felt safe letting them go swim by themselves at 16 yrs old with the supervision of life guards.
The food prices were no different then anywhere else. The buffet was amazing. Clean, good food.
Friendly people. The rooms were clean and he beds were comfortable.
Only 5 mins from the strip and they even have a shuttle that take you down there.
We will be back!

Stayed in The Orleans Hotel for 6 nights in May 2014. Location was great as we wanted to stay off the Strip. My mum can't walk long distances so The Orleans was perfect, just a small walk to the elevators, the food court and to the valet to get a taxi. The rooms were a good size. Great value for money. All staff were very helpful. We will definately be making a return visit to The Orleans.

Let me start by saying that we had a few hiccups on the December 2013 trip to the Orleans but these I'm pleased to say have been eradicated.

For a off the strip hotel The Orleans is very good. The remodeled rooms are fabulous. Clean, modern with flat screen tv, comfy beds. We had a room on the 16th floor over looking the strip. You could see the whole of the strip from the Encore to Mandalay Bay. This was quite spectacular in the evening and the wheel at the Linq was lit up aswell as the hotels.

The Orleans offer a lot of rewards for joining the B Connected Players Card They offer days where you can receive free gifts. Whilst we were there in May they offered a mini game where you could win slot dollars or extra points on the card. The B Connected card is one of the best cards you will find. They also have a over 50's club. You are entered into a free prize draw, get free buffets and receive random points multipliers on your B connected card on the over 50's wednesday.

We cant wait for our next trip to Las Vegas and we will definately be going to The Orleans.
