The Orleans Hotel & Casino

The Orleans is our go to place for our 8 employees when we go to Vegas. Relatively clean and well maintained for a moderate price. Up side: easy to access, uncrowded restaurants with good to better offerings, rooms large for the town, and reliable internet. Down side: TV sucks with few channels and jumpy satellite feed, not as inexpensive as it used to be with no real upgrades to the place.

Thank you for choosing The Orleans as your place to stay while in Las Vegas. We are priced well compared to some strip hotel prices, and we are so appreciative that you bring your business to us! We just upgraded our TV channel selection and our satellite feed should not be giving our guests problems, we will look into this and get it taken care of, our apologies. In the next 2 weeks we will be starting a remodel project of over 800 guest rooms. Rest assured we won't be plain anymore, we hope you will return again soon.

I have never had a bad experience at The Orleans (except for giving them too much of my money lol). They have always been very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. We have been staying here for many years. We tried the Prime Rib Loft this time and it was excellent. I will be back in Vegas next March and you can be sure that I will be staying at The Orleans.

We last stayed hear in 2006 and had fond memories which took us back again this year.
The rooms have had a bit of a tidy up but are still big and comfortable. The in room coffee is still undrinkable, absolutely terrible.
The choice of places to eat is great. We tried Canal Street and Big Al's but will do separate reviews.
The pool area is large and relaxing with a Margarita only $8.50.
Big casino area with a wide choice of tables and slots.
The only disappointments would be the Barber shop (shave) and the Spa. The Spa consists of a Steam room and hot tub, not worth the $20 fee when considered to other Spa's.
The cocktail waitresses were just as hot as I remembered, lol!

That said I would definitely go back and would highly recommend.

Nice property, the coffee counter serving real Starbucks espresso is not too far from the bank of elevators, no problems with check-in or check-out, the place never seemed jammed or crowded, pool was just a-ok although it would've been nice if the pool had been warmer, it's mostly in the shade... the hotel on the whole was just fine, mind you I'm not going to compare it a luxury level property... cuz it's not a luxury property. The place was just a-ok for what we paid... no complaints with the property itself. Unfortunately (and this was the fault of our inadequate planning) we quickly discovered that The Orleans was not as close to our evening entertainment as we had hoped... which meant we needed a cab ride ...every night :-( we ended up spending WAY more money in cab fare than originally planned, and although The Orleans does have a shuttle (very convenient) it’s frequently full, which means you have to wait….. or take a cab.

I'd give it 5 stars if they'd ban smoking in the casino; or at least an entire segregated area for smokers and their pollution. I do have to say the casino in general does not overcome you with smoke, but playing at the tables with smoke is awful-blame the smokers for that. other areas are smoke-free. The hotel has many dining choices and all are good, always have good experiences with the restaurants, food and service. The rooms have what you need, don't know what else to say about the rooms, they're very nice and for high value. The fitness room is also a quality area. The hotel has offered me some very fine deals and i've taken advantage of them and have always come home extremely satisfied with the Orleans Hotel Casino. I think this is the 6th time I've stayed here.

Stayed at the Orleans 9 years ago and came back this time for a longer stay, and came with our daughter and her boyfriend. We all loved our stay. The hotel has so many things to make your stay entertaining and the choice of food is brilliant. TGIF, Subway, and all the restaurants are really good. The buffet is amazing and we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service, gym, and the bowling alley were also very good. But top of the list was the outdoor pools and the great wee bar selling those yummy buckets of beer. Would love to come back again.

Room Tip: If you are a non smoker emphasize that you definitely want a non smoker.

We reallly like our stay here. The room is a very nice size with a comfortable bed and adequate dresser space. Nice table for my wife to do her makeup outside of the bathroom. Very nice having the couch and coffee table in the room as well. Is located off the strip but quick ride to all hotels and casinos. Pool area very nice and clean. Lots to do at the hotel and some very nice restaurants. We would definitiely stay there again.
