Well, really about $43 per night because they add on a "resort fee" in addition to tax. But a very nice, very large, all inclusive resort. About 1.5 miles west of the Strip on West Tropicana. Not a nice neighborhood but NO reason to ever leave the resort except to take the free shuttle to Bally's which is right on the Strip at the center of the action. Orleans has 1800 rooms and seemed fairly full but plenty of room to roam in the casino and spaces in the various eating venues. Lots of families with kids and never saw security hassle anyone for having a kid in tow.
Room was large, clean and well furnished. Ice machine worked and was handy.
Buffet was average or a little above but the café was outstanding. Prices reasonable. Would stay there again but for the same price would go to the South Point unless I wanted Strip access. Orleans and South Point very similar but South Point has the edge. Both with large bowling establishments and movie theaters but SP brighter and even roomier with a dozen eating places and entertainment in several places.More
