From the beginning at check in the fast and helpful also was upgrade since there were no rooms available but it was pretty nice. Next day reservation help with a allegiant air error they applied a credit for the buffets which was great the money we would of used on food we used it on gambling. Overall we had a good time. Would come again but with more comfortable shoes.

Room Tip: You don't need to packet shampoo or conditioner or any body soap...You just need your toothpaste...

We are deeply encouraged by your remarks. While the pedestrian friendly nature of Las Vegas certainly does favor comfortable shoes, at MGM Grand we offer all manner of attractions and amenities under one roof. Our dedicated and proficient service also means we can help immediately resolve complications when they arise. Thank you for sharing your remarks, and please consider us again for any future visits to Las Vegas.

Stayed there for 4 nights last weekend. Really nice room aside from the fact that the blind, or whatever that was does not go up and is very thin meaning we had the green MGM light shining through our window all night long. It wasn't bad, just felt like Aliens were outside in their spaceship or something. Our room was in the back so was quiet aside from the one night there was a concert going on in the hotel. Nice big bed and nice pillows. Aside from that it rained the whole time so we didn't get to use the pool which was a major bummer as it was most of the reason I booked this place.

Location wise it's ok. I mean you are at the end of the strip almost but you can hop a tram right from the hotel ($12 for a day pass, $5 single ride) to get anywhere so it's not a big deal.

We got a $75 Crystals gift cert with our stay, which if you are familiar with Crystals will hardly pay the tax on anything in that mall. We used ours at the English Pub and it was fantastic! A really fun/lively atmosphere and yummy sangria. Happy hour from 4-6 has half price drinks and $3 sliders. Drinks were pricey in hotel restaurants and gift shop so we just bought from Walgreen's ($2.99 for a super tall can) and walked around with those.

Took a taxi to and from the airport. About $12.

Room Tip: I'm guessing the back would be quieter than the front facing the strip.

We stayed at the MGM Grande for 4 nights in November 2013 with 3 other couples and had a great time. As with many hotels in Las Vegas, it is seriously impressive. It is huge but it did not feel impersonal. Check-in was smooth and we were allocated Room 229 on the 11th floor. The room was clean, modern and very spacious with a large, comfy bed and nice lounge area. It was reasonably quiet but you do tend to hear the noise from people in the corridors outside your room. The view from our window was a side view of The Strip and the surrounding mountains in the distance plus an awful lot of hotel rooftop, but we were not too bothered by the view. Room had large desk area, good lighting, room safe, mini bar, free wi-fi, big TV, ample wardrobe space with an iron and ironing board. Sadly, no tea/coffee making facilities. There was a large, modern bathroom with ample space to put down your bits and pieces. It had a shower over a low bath, hairdryer, good magnifying mirror, nice range or complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels with lovely, large bath towels and nice towelling flannels (which you don’t often get in UK hotels these days) plus good lighting in the bathroom (also lacking in many hotels these days).
The hotel had a small gym in our block.
We used their laundry service which was ‘same day returns’ and cost $8 for a pair of trousers.
We ate at Fiamma restaurant which had a nice atmosphere and good service but was a bit expensive. We found that the prices quoted do not include tax and to top that, we had an 18% service charge added because there were 8 of us in our group. A bit steep!
We also ate at the Rainforest Café which was good, fun, cheap and no 18% service charge.
We had breakfast in Avenue 24 where the portions were rather large but there was a nice menu and reasonable prices.
There was a little ‘convenience’ shop in the hotel which was useful and a nice cake shop too.
We saw the Cirque de Soleil show Ka at this hotel which was spectacular and dramatic with fabulous costumes, stunts and unbelievable scenery plus a mechanical stage which changed every which way you could imagine.
This is a huge hotel which is always busy with an in-your-face gambling casino on the ground floor but it felt good. There was always a buzz about the place and we enjoyed our stay there.

If you go to Vegas, you have to stay here, there is so much going on and if you pick a good date to go you might be there when a big event is on and its crazy. We went on a fight weekend and the buzz was so amazing we all just want to go back. Superb experience.

Came with my family to relax for a few days and celebrate my 14 year anniversary. The room was awesome. The bed was comfy.
The TV kept on losing signal and the wifi was having trouble connecting. A room with a better view would have been nice.
Other than that, everything was great.

Excellent service even though an extremely large and busy Hotel. Check in took about 10 minutes due to long line-up of people. Rooms recently renovated and are excellent (very nicely appointed ,clean and quiet). Hotel has lots of amenities, including a great selection of restaurants. Hotel staff, without exception, very friendly and helpful. Could try to improve the air quality through better ventilation in the casino area - cigarette smoke very noticeable. Definitely a hotel we will return to when we visit Las Vegas.
