We came to Las Vegas for the fight in MGM. The room was great but the price too high and
the room was too big. 20 minutes from the room till the swimming pool. Long line for the buffet and too many people. see you at the fight

Room Tip: This hotel its too big

MGM has everything you need so you dont have to leave the hotel. Food was amazing, especially the sushi restaurants. KA was brilliant, and there was always plenty to do. Only downside is that travellers from other hotels would come to MGM so it got quite busy. There was also plenty of families with heaps of kids walking around got quite irritating. It is worth staying at this hotel, and possibly trekking to Mandala Bay / Luxor for the day if you are looking for peace :)

Room Tip: get a refurbished one

We stayed at the MGM from 20th April for 5 nights. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, we had to wait no longer than 10 mins and the process was very good. We were given a lovely room and we asked if we could change from level 8 to a higher level for better views, the lady at reception was very accommodating and gave us level 27 immediately! Was impressed with our room, double queen with good views, the room was very clean and comfy.

The hotel itself I couldn't fault, the staff were friendly, all areas were always clean and tidy and the scent is the best in any casino we visited!!!

The hotel is in a good location however when I return to LV one day I may choose a hotel slightly in the middle of the strip so I have less walking but that's just a personal choice.

Like all the hotels in Vegas the MGM is huge and it will take you up to 10 mins to walk to the pool area. The pool area was also very clean, good service at the bars and the restaurants. We didn't struggle to get a sun bed any day at any time if the day, there was lots of space. Towels are provided by the hotel.

If you are thinking of booking the MGM don't think twice, we had a brilliant stay and as I said earlier I couldn't fault the hotel in anyway!

We hope to return to LV very soon! Enjoy!!

I had a nice time at MGM, the only thing I would recommend is to encourage your bar staff and waitresses on the casino floor to be a little more friendly and act as if they are happy to serve you your drinks.

This is quite possibly the worst stay that I have had in any hotel. We were driving from San francisco to Las vegas. So it was about 3.30AM by the time we reached the hotel and we were completely wiped out after driving for nearly 9hours straight. The lady at the front desk was nice and gave us a room in west tower room no 554 on floor 2 promptly. But the problems started the minute we entered the room. The view was of a dumpster in the back and the bed was lumpy. But we decided not to ask for another room just because we were tired and didn't want to take the time to get another room. We didn't foresee that we would be rudely awakened by dump trucks going in and out by 4.30AM. The problem was they continued to make a ruckus until 7.30AM. The walls are paper thin and it was impossible to sleep, at which time we called the front desk for a different room. They refused saying that they won't give us a different room because we were just staying for one night. But apparently they did not have a problem taking advantage of our situation in the middle of the night. I am pretty sure they knew of the problem even before they allotted the room because the front desk immediately knew what we were talking about. Except they were inconsiderate and unwilling to help. I am also sure all the rooms facing this side on this building have the same problem. The dump trucks continued on till we left at 10.30AM. If you want any rest at all, I advise not to book this hotel.

Dear Nish g:

I certainly regret that the location of your West Tower room proved less than exemplary. Unfortunately, the lower floors in that section of our hotel do experience external noise from city sanitation trucks in isolated instances. If not for our already fully committed room inventory that early in the morning, our front desk staff would have gladly worked with you to secure alternative accommodations.

I can assure you every employee of MGM Grand is committed to providing unparalleled service and personalized attention. If we were unable to fulfill your relocation request, it was because we were bound to the constraints of extenuating circumstances, and not due to any deliberate or premeditated negligence.

It is my sincere desire that you afford us another opportunity to restore your faith in our brand. If so, we look forward to you experiencing MGM Grand in the manner intended.

Respectfully,

Lori Pastor

We booked the Tower Spa suite thinking it would have an awesome view and boy were we wrong, we had a view of on the 5th floor of some industrial air conditioning units we asked the next day in the morning if we could move to another room and the Joker with his Poker face said let me ask the manager and come back and said sorry not at this time, the room was really nice but the parking sucks beyond belief and if you miss your turn you have to drive around the block or just say it is about a 4 mile F around, go to the Mirage it is easier to park and easier to navigate the casino .

Room Tip: if you book through Travelocity you will get screwed on your room. the look on their little screen a...
