“Brad Garrett's Comedy Club was a BLAST!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

I am reviewing the Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at the MGM. It was a great show! Ticket prices are reasonable and it is a very intimate setting. We had a little table right up front! There were two comedians and they were both very funny! We would definitely recommend this show is you are staying at the MGM...even if you aren't!

Dear kathywisconsin88:

Thank you for your review. Brad Garret’s Comedy Club is a great place to enjoy some of the finest rising stars on the comedy scene. Well known headliners, comic mainstays, and ascending funnymen and women all the grace the stage with a rotating lineup of hilarious talent. Reasonable ticket prices and a classic club atmosphere create a perfect night of laughs and fun. So the next time you are in town, have a blast and take in a joke or two. There are plenty more where that came from.

Sincerely,

Stayed four nights at the MGM Grand. Free upgraded to Grand Tower as room was not ready. Huge Hotel but plenty of bars, restaurants and helpful staff. Would have been five star but for the ongoing renovations on the main floor which caused some disruption when trying to exit on to the main strip through the west doors. Great location on the strip, Would stay here again if ever back in Vegas!

Room Tip: Grand Tower rooms are close to the lobby.

Beautiful large clean rooms, best pool anywhere!! Resort is constantly cleaning and updating . Staff are always accommodating and glad to see your return. Always feel like we have come home! Pool area feels like you are in the tropics with all the Palm trees and plants. Lazy River is incredible fun as well. Feel like a kid again!!

Only issues we had were the air in the room was extremely dry, the cable went in and out (lost signal for a few minutes several times a day). Odor when coming into the hotel and common areas was a but strong.

We recently stayed at the MGM on our first trip to Vegas. We stayed in their basic rooms and were pleased with the room and the selection of restaurants, casinos, and location.

The room was updated with flat screen tv's and push button blinds. The beds were very comfortable. They were nothing over the top but nice and comfortable. The price, although we used a friends M Life discount, was very affordable. Of course you could get cheaper but price is relative to quality and amenities.

The hotel offered excellent shopping and restaurants, definitely comparable to any and better than a few of the resorts on the strip. Of course there is the Cirque du Seleil, regular comedy shows, the CSI experience, and the random shows. The new, five story club Hakkasan opened while we were there. Also, the pools were very elaborate and well kept.

The location was towards the end of the strip but with the monorail station inside the resort and a free monorail located across the street within an easy walking distance it was a good location.

We had a blast, were happy with the quality in and out of the room and would definitely stay again. I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Check out the free monorail in the Monte Carlo for accessing the center and opposite end of the stri...

We had a great stay, location, location, location. We always enjoy the pool (lazy river), Diego's and the buffett were excellent. We will definitely return on our next trip to Las Vegas. This would be a great location for a family vacation, the kids would have a great time at the pool.

Dear Lester437:

Location indeed! It is so wonderful to hear that you had such a great time with us. The MGM Grand is surrounded by impressive sister properties, many of which are just a short walk away. But taxis, the monorail system, busses, shuttles, and limousine services make nearly any point on the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding area easily accessible.

With fantastic amenities like our Grand Pool complex, Diego’s restaurant, Grand Buffet, or a staggering assortment of other world class amenities and attractions, the complete resort experience is here on property. Family vacation, business trip, or weekend getaway, MGM Grand is the perfect place for fun times and entertainment.

Sincerely,

Myself and 2 friends (women in our early 30's) stayed at MGM early April 2013. We were given one of the renovated rooms. Nice, current decor. Mattresses are super comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. Housekeeping was very good. Room had blinds (shades and black-out blinds) on a switch system. Unfortunately, ours did not function well, in spite of having repair people up to look at it. We commented on this at checkout and were given several days of free resort-feeds (Which seemed reasonable!). The pool area is incredible and from what i saw, maybe the best of all the hotels. There is a lazy river, several pools, waterfalls. Just awsome! Prices for drinks are expensive, as they are at all hotels i think. Purchase drinks at the nearby Walgreens to save $. We ate at Wolfgang Puck's (in MGM) one night. Good food. great service. It is located right near theatre where we went to see Ka (Cirque du Soleil). Incredible show and nicely located right in MGM! Rainforest Cafe at MGM was also a super cool experience. Restaurant is set up as though you are in the jungle and has moving animals in the bushes. Crepe restaurant in hotel also good. Little overpriced though. Casino area can give a sore throat in spite of the hotel trying to cover up the smoke (was happy to return to Canada where every place is smoke free). MGM hotel is HUGE, so it takes a LONG time to walk from your room to the pool, or other features at teh hotel. In spite, the hotel has been updated and seemed to be one of the nicest ones on the strip from what we could tell. Location is awsome on the strip. Monorail has a stop right at the MGM which was super convenient. I would stay here again if i go back to vegas.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the renovated rooms.

Dear SunshineKid80:

We appreciate you staying with us, and thank you taking the time to provide us with your opinions and insight. When our guests stay at MGM Grand we seek to provide them with the premier resort and entertainment experience. Your comments and feedback suggest that we reached this objective. As multiple aspects of our Grand Renovation have produced some truly impressive results, spanning dining, nightlife, gaming, and our stunning renovated room accommodations, the need for candid feedback is all the more important to measure our success.

We are truly gratified to know that you enjoyed one of our many exciting show options, like Ka, which is considered by many to be one of the “must see” shows on the Strip. We are also glad to know that you enjoyed the Grand Pool complex, which really is an attraction destination unto itself. And for well appointed casual dining, Wolfgang Puck and Rainforest Café are both excellent choices. So please do come see us again. We look forward to providing you with another unbeatable Las Vegas adventure.
