“Exceeded my Expectations!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

After reading some TripAdvisor reviews I was worried but the location, parking and room was great! We booked through a private person but upon arrival we asked for a North facing room. We were granted our request and had room 1032. It was fully stocked with all the necessary items to cook and clean up after ourselves. The view was phenomenal- the fountains at Bellagio were right across the way and at night the view of Paris, the Bellagio and all the lights was amazing. The room came stocked with dishes including wine glasses a bottle opener, blender, dishwasher microwave, fridge etc. We were able to make fabulous meals and save a ton of money. The location was perfect- just a two minute walk across the street and we were at Paris or Planet Hollywood. We will never stay at a normal hotel in Vegas again. Oh and the popcorn was an awesome extra! The sign to the drive to parking is a little hidden just look for the drive between the exit of the Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan, and look for signs in the parking structure as to where to park. The beds were comfy and I heard no noise from neighboring rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for a north facing room!

I stayed three night at Jockey Club hotel. It was my first time in Las Vegas and I didn't know anything about the city. The Jockey Club hotel is a good hotel, a little bit hidden so you can not see it from the main street (the strip), but it's very close to the Bellagio (2 minutes walking). It doesn't have its own casino but the rooms are very nice, clean and confortable.

We purchased the timeshare back in 1990. we almost sold it around 1995-1996 but we made a decision to keep it considering all of the emerging property builds. Located NEXT to the Bellagio and NOW it is UNDER the Cosmopolitan with the City Center behind it, it is ON THE STRIP (Las Vegas Blvd.). GREAT LOCATION.

There is NO CASINO (which to us is actually a plus with LESS Foot Traffic).
There is no Restaurant but there is a Cafe (mostly used for the Timeshare meetings/shows/speeches/sales pitch).

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the Ascot Tower facing North. This tower Faces North overlooks the Bellagio Founta...

Thank you Jockey Club Owners for this review of your recent stay at your “Home away from Home.” We are all very pleased that you did not sell all those years ago and that you still enjoy the location. It appears by the scoring that you also enjoyed the Value, Sleep Quality, Rooms, Cleanliness and Service. We look forward to your next visit!

I recently visited Las Vegas and was approached by somebody asking me to listen to a time share speech for the Jockey Club. I was promised slot money, tickets to a show, resturant vouchers and a 3 night stay. After listening for over the hour and a half as told, I went to get my promised gifts. Well, I did not receive what was promised. When I questioned this I was treated rudely. I eventually received tickets to a show but I had to pay to upgrade the tickets so I would have a decent seat. If you do not buy their time share you are treated very badly.

Plus: very spacey, good location
Minus: poor service, hotel is smelly, carpet and sofas need to be replaced. Room 668 needs renovation. Called for room service to clean the room, shampoo the rug, anything to get the horrible smell of the room out. Nothing was done, or maybe they did something but I didn't c a difference.

Room Tip: I am staying at this hotel now and would never stay here ever again. We booked it through Expedia an...

Thank you for your review. We apologize that you did not have pleasant experience here at the Jockey Club. There are privately owned condominiums located throughout the Jockey Club that are not part of the Jockey Club Timeshare. Many of these condos are rented out nightly, weekly, monthly or long term through Expedia, Travelosity, etc. These condominiums are independently maintained by way of renovation. As the Jockey Club does not collect the rental revenue for privately owned suites we are unable to move guests to the Timeshare suites from the privately owned suites without charging a nightly rental. We realize that this is most inconvenient and we will make every effort to work with guests that may have the same experience in the future.

Stayed dec 5-12 in one bdroom in derby tower. Def request the tower facing bellagio fountains if possible. Have convenient shuttle service to grocery store and premium outlet malls. No shuttle service to/from airport but just walked around to the Cosmo. Only complaint is that due to the no smoking rooms the smokers hang out at the entrance drinking which looks pretty low class. Had the offer to attend time share presentation but there was no pressure at all. Good maid service. Safe in room. Walk in closet. Bathroom in bedroom area which is a bit strange if you have company over. Large enough to have a large group over for pre-dinner drinks. Had to do laundry on site-cheap. $2.25 for a wash/dry. Have complimentary wifi that isn't super consistent but its free. Also have a guest services area where you can use the public computer and print off your boarding passes at no charge. Free coffee and popcorn too. Short walk to the Bellagio. Overall good experience. Would stay again.

Thank you for your detailed review. We appreciate you sharing all that the Club has to offer with your fellow Trip Advisor travelers. There are shuttles for a per person fee available to and from the airport by appointment. The licenses to travel to the airport are limited to just a few shuttle companies making it unavailable to our complimentary shuttle service. We have several designated smoking areas on property. We will see to it that our team works towards politely pointing them out to our smoking guests. We are happy to learn that your overall experience was good and that you would visit us again. See you soon!

Had a 1 bdrm/1 bath. Room was spacious and clean. Only 2 of us so size was fine. Would be tough with 4 adults. Only bath was in the bedroom. Bathroom was sort of plain -- standard tub/shower combo. Would have been nice to have a jacuzzi. Location was convenient and the timeshare people never bothered us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Locating the club and parking is a pain. They need to post more signs. Overall, not bad considering it's location.

Room Tip: The higher the better for views. We had 6th floor and could see the taller portions of the Bellagio...

Thank you for your review. We are glad to learn by your title that you felt that the Jockey Club is convenient and quiet as well as your room clean and spacious. A whirlpool tub would be a nice addition. We are happy to know that you found our staff to be friendly and helpful. Finding us and parking is difficult amongst all that we are surrounded by, glad you found us. We are working with the Cosmo to improve the signage. We appreciate your input as this is the only way for us to know where we are successful and where we need to improve.
