Stayed at the Flamingo for four nights. Read some good and some poor reviews before so decided to go for their GO rooms. It was ok price at around $70 because i was using points to pay for my stay. The room itself was not bad. We had one on the 18th floor facing the ferris wheel. The room comes with a TV but with limited channels. A fridge and safe. The two queen beds we had were nice and soft and came with three pillows. It's floor to ceiling windows and the drapes can be open closed with push of a button. The walls however are paper thin and you can pretty much hear what goes on outside the room/next door. Would i stay here if i have to pay for it? Maybe. The location is right across from the Caesars Palace which is right in the middle of the strip so it's quite convenient. The rooms are also very pinkish. So my wife loved it

Thought I had booked a Go Luxury room based on reviews on tripadvisor warning against the 'Fab' room reviews. How disappointed I was when we got to the Flamingo and found out we had a 'Fab' room. My mistake to not be sure we had the right room reserved. The bed was not very comfortable. The sliding door of the closet was broken and off the hinge so it was just leaning up against the other door. The bathroom was really small with most of the paint chipped off the front of the vanity. The back of the door in the bathroom was dirty and had some of the paint chipped off of it as well. We only stayed 2 of the 4 nights we had reserved because of the poor room condition. We switched to the Monte Carlo and had a much better experience.

Crap experience from top to bottom. First, if you don't take their shuttle ($14 charge) you are dropped off down the street 2 blocks and have to walk in the back door past the "dog area". Next, our "Fab" strip view room...no carpet, really, no carpet. What hotel makes you pay an extra $30 a nite for a carpeted floor...the flamingo. The bathroom is wallpapered and must be original, it's blistered and peeling and so outdated! There is a hole in the bathroom door and the woodwork is all banged up. Oh, I forgot the scary elevator ride. The panel with the buttons is loose, yes, the whole wall panel. The elevator is so scratched and banged up and filthy. Which brings to mind the carpet in the hallway, ew. Maybe it's a good thing there isn't carpet in my room. So, I go for a soda at the vending machine and loose my $3. Hotel response, not our machines. Another disappointment. This room goes for $300 on a fri and sat nite. There should be a law against selling crap for $300. Stay elsewhere!

GO rooms and the Flamingo are the best place on the strip! The place is comfortable and the staff is friendly. I enjoy my time at the property. It is not too fancy and I fit in well with the other relaxed people staying.

Room Tip: Get a GO room - the others are not as nice.

Older hotel and casino. Unless you use valet, parking is a nightmare. Slots don't pay well. I don't play table games so don't know about them. Has an easy entrance to the Linq. Good view of the High Roller from rooms on back. Several restaurants to choose from but only fast food for late dining. Elevators and escalators could use clean ups and work on mechanicals.

loved the old time feel of the casino. Friendliest staff ever! I loved coming down from my room and gambling here, it felt safe, comfortable and I won lots! I enjoyed this casino more than any other casino in Las Vegas and was glad I stayed here.

Room Tip: Great place to stay and gamble
