i will admit that i was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews in the days leading up to our trip, so once we arrived i had already decided to upgrade us to the go room...and it was well worth it...lovely room, refrigerator, tv in bathroom mirror, jets in the separate shower, floor to ceiling windows with electronic drape controls and the list goes on and on...the hotel was right in the middle of everything which made covering the strip much easier...if youre looking for something ultra fancy, then the flamingo probably isnt for you, but if you want a place with a good selection of places to eat, helpful employees, beautiful gardens and not so big that youll need a map to find your room again , then check the flamingo out...

Room Tip: bite the bullet and upgrade to the GO Room....best sleep ive ever gotten in a hotel, bed and pillows...

Hotel is very dated. Carpets in hallway was very worn and loose with some holes in it. People set trays from room service out in the hall with food on the tray and remained there for about 24 hours. One day they took all our towels and never replaced them another day they took out the garbage out of the baskets and left the full bag in the corner of the room. The value was still there though, just not as nice as I expected.

Had a good stay, clean and big rooms. Great and comfy bed.

I've asked for a room located on the highest floor as possible. Loved the view.

The room we had booked is fitted with a iPhone dockingstation/ two tv's (bed- and bathroom).

Room Tip: Take the 'Go Room' with strip view

Stayed for four nights in Feb.for our adult escape from reality. Love this hotel for its location and price. Check in was a snap. Dennis who checked us in was very personable and great! We are platinum members so that makes a difference there.Check out was easy also.We had a rental car and the parking garage was a lil of a headache...need more spaces for their own guests especially on the third floor where it is easy access to the hotel. Room was nice comfy and clean...just wish the walls weren't so thin. Housekeeping was nice and polite.Seems all the employees there are very nice.Even one of the employees started the O-H-i-O cheer with us when he saw we were from Ohio(that was pleasant) .We have stayed here many times in the past (some stays were better than others). Reccomend the Go rooms over the regular rooms(have stayed in both). The timeshare people and sales people at the jewelry and beauty supply shops were annoying but have to be rude and ignore them as you walk by or they won't leave you alone (but they r everywhere in vegas also). Would possibly stay here again and reccommend to friends.

Room Tip: Choose the Go rooms

I loved this hotel. Quick check in and check out. Hotel is in a great location which I really loved. Close to stands with slushie drinks and lots of cheap food. I look forward to staying at this hotel again for future stays. The staff were friendly and attentative. So many good stores and gift shops. The only thing I could complain about was the bedding. They give you a sheet for a blanket. And when I called for a comforter they gave me a throw blanket. So be prepared to bring a blanket if you need extra to sleep with. Over all I would stay at this hotel again because of price, location and great food.

Room Tip: Bring blankets and if you need to sleep with a radio bring an ipod or a mp3 player because the radio...

Love Flamingo for weekend trips. Great location and awesome restaurants. The pool is a blast and makes it a great summer destination. The value Flamingo offers is fantastic compared to other casinos. Love all the specials they offer after joining the total rewards program. Love the shops and coffee shops for early am refresher!

Room Tip: ask to be close to the elevator
