“Loved it!”
Reviewed January 16, 2014 via mobile

Loved our trip to Vegas!! My husband and I went with my parents and sister. We stayed in the towers. They were a little dates but HUGE and clean. We would definitely stay there again. The poll wasn't the greatest and have seen better in Vegas. Location is great! We were in the middle of the strip and had an amazing view of the strip.

Unfortunately, I didn't actually get to stay here, but I spent a good chunk of the day at the hotel when Linkin Park had a show. I think this is a fun place just to check out! If you're a music lover like me, it's exciting to see all the memorabilia they have displayed. There's a lot of places to eat, (not to mention HR Cafe just outside the hotel) tons of shops to check out, and of course the bars and gambling as well! I had so much fun just walking around. The staff I did encounter were pleasant and very helpful. Next time I go back to Vegas, I want to spend at LEAST a night here. I think it would be great!

everyone is so helpful and willing to help make your trip enjoyable. Love that its not this giant complex and being able to self park and not walk 5 miles back to registration was fabulous. The beds are just so comfy and being able to walk "home" after a concert is priceless.

Need to find a way to get the outdoor areas open in January (even if the pool is closed it would be nice to hang in the cabanas when its 70 degrees outside) and not a big fan of the fact they moved all the treadmills to a hallway instead of the training room so that the convention could use it.

Love all the music and bands playing around as the music is top notch even from the cover bands playing some of the on site venues.

The room was a good size for 4 of us and the bathroom was great (shower and toilet separate from the sink). The rest of the hotel is ok, nothing to compare with the bigger strip hotels, but still there are a couple of good restaurants and the size of the casino was fine. The highlight is that there is music everywhere, so the ambiance is nice.

The walk for the strip is 30 min. I prefer to walk from the HR to the Bellagio than from the Luxor. You avoid all the traffic and construction. A taxi is also cheap (10-15$). There is a 24h subway and a pharmacy right across the street.

Just as the title said. The Hard Rock is a great mix of party and relaxation. Rooms in the HRH tower are awesome! Plus they bring in the greatest names in the entertainment biz.( not all the washed up acts who can't tour anymore so they play on the strip). Do not go here however if you are simply looking for "Casino" atmosphere. This is a music atmosphere with a smaller casino. That is actually what we loved about it.

Room Tip: If you are going in the winter months, The HRH tower(which is all suites), are a great price. Big &q...

Pros: decent price for what you get, Small but complete gym (during my staying) they had to close the main gym and opened a small room with cardio machines that worked only from time to time due to issues with power)
Contras: 20 min walking distance from the strip, casino is not amazing and the hotel has an old and a new section... Rooms in the old section (that was my case) were Ok but not extraordinary.

Room Tip: If you do not care about being in the strip, this is a decent hotel Ask for rooms at the HRH tower...

We got a great deal on a room at the Hard Rock in January and decided why not. It's a couple of blocks off the strip, but has a lot of rock & roll memorabilia, and on a January Monday night was hopping with a group of young folks (younger than us) who were having some techno gathering in one of the conference facilities. Rooms are good sized, we had a upper floor room overlooking the closed pools. (The only one that was open closed at 4, that's when the sun sets behind the building.) Like many hotels, this one has the mini-bar with the sensors, so we couldn't even keep our waters cold. (If you unload the mini bar to make room for your water, you pay for everything you moved.) Also, the room we were in didn't have a coffee maker. Come one Hard Rock, your hip, cool clients drink coffee don't they?

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor room overlooking the strip. And never mind the smell of pot coming from down...
