We paid extra for the Gold Club Level, simply to be able to use the web spa on our last day because we wanted to enjoy the pool then get ready for a show. Check in was fun as we got to use the VIP lounge as the check in spot with this expensive room. It was a little underwhelming compared to most Vegas hotels, as they only luxury was water. No snacks or anything!
The room was fine, beds not comfy but it was ok.
We loved the Chart House restaurant and Claim Jumper restaurant. Pool upstairs was awesome, shark tank was freezing. Spa was the worst! Very snooty, they warn you a few times that you should not put anything of value in the lockers as things disappear. So now where do we leave our purses? The sole reason we spent so much on the room. Very small and all the seats were taken.
Then they don't even let you sit on the chairs at the pool without paying $25 even through you have to pay extra to use the pool.
Very little customer service in either place.
Pool at our next hotel was so much more friendly and fun.

First let me thank you for taking the time to let us know about your Golden Nugget Spa Experience. We make a point of emphasis to deliver exceptional Spa Experiences to all of our guests and it appears as though we have failed you in this endeavor. We provide a secure locker room environment with individual locks which we take each guest through an introduction and set up process. During this process we encourage our guests to use these locks to ensure the safety and security of their belongings while enjoying the relaxing environment of our Spa Facilities. I am so sorry this process left you with the impression that we were “snooty” or apathetic to your needs, my staff and I strive daily to deliver warm gracious guest service. I hope that during your next visit you allow us an opportunity to deliver the exceptional guest service the Golden Nugget is synonymous with.

Warm Regards,

Jeff

Stayed at the Golden Nugget for 5 nights. Used to staying on the Strip, however this hotel did not disappoint. Several restaurants, the food was great, large servings, including Room service. Heated pool, three levels, slide thru the sharks.
Customer service excellent. Very clean. Noise was not an issue. Ear plugs were provided however did not need them. Blackout drapes.
Very impressed, would gladly stay again.

Stayed at Golden Nugget for the 3rd time. I really like this property. I have previously stayed in Carson Tower but this time they upgraded us to the Rush Tower. This upgrade was nice, but I really had no problem with Carson Tower and I think everything is easier to access from Carson. Rush is good if you really want to be away from everything, which I'm sure a lot of people like.
We had Cabana Reservations for 2 days this trip. One day @ Hideout Adult Pool, and One day at The Tank Pool. Both are nice, but, for 2 Adults The Hideout is the best choice.
We ate a The Grill, Claim Jumper, Grotto & Cadillac Grill restaurants. All were good.
I would for sure stay at Golden Nugget in the Future, In fact I may stay there again in April. It's a great choice.

Thank you for your review, Rhonda! We really do have rooms (and towers) for everyone depending on what they like. We agree, The Hideout is a great choice for adults, very relaxing and easy access to the bar! See you again soon!

From the minute I walked in for check in I fell in love. Greeted by a wonderful gentlemen, and was given an Upgraded room in the Rush Tower. When I got to the room I was taken back. An absolutely beautiful room. The bathroom had a beautiful deep tub, double sinks and the toilet had a separate door. The doors to the sink and tub had an oriental feel with the double sliding doors. The bed was comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean, no funky smells or weird stains. I was on the 6th floor so perfect to minimal noise from the all night gambling and parties going on Freemont street.
Saw the beautiful pool with the shark tank that everyone speaks so highly of. It is beautiful. Didn't get to enjoy it though, maybe next time. Found the Golden Nugget which was a fun adventure. Looked for it on your own makes it way more fun. The pizza that we had at the quick bites place was probably my least favorite thing about the hotel and its offerings. I enjoyed the old school feel of Downtown Vegas on Freemont street way more then the commercial of the strip. It still has the old traditional neon that I remember and people watching is great. I recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking for a fun time in Vegas.

Daniel at the front desk is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! On a crazy busy Friday with hectic lines and an overcrowded lobby, he truly shined. He made the check in process so seamless and great. Companies should never take who they put on the front lines of their businesses lightly, especially when it’s customers coming to spend money at a great hotel. A great staff can truly change a vacation and it all started with Daniel. He set the bar for the weekend and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back next year! This hotel is a hidden gem on Fremont!
