My sister and I stayed at this hotel for five days. At the time of booking we received a funbook with three dinners , lunches or breakfast free you buy three and get three more for free. The hotel is old but safe and clean. There is a Walgreens pharmacy at the corner where you can get food and medicine as well as buy souvenirs. The hotel is on Fremont Street where it is a lot of action. Fremont is a boulevard with many stores, restaurants, and concerts every night. I really liked that the hotel does not charge a resort fee which is very good.

Although one of the older casinos in Vegas it's location on Fremont Street really makes it convenient to a lot of street party action. Room 1705 has a nice nighttime skyline view toward the strip with not too many obstructions. I always prefer their video poker machines. I didn't get a Royal Flush this time but did get back-to-back 4 Aces on their progressive quarter poker machine. Participated in a small no-cost slot tournament which comped the room for 3 nights. Nice staff and security.

Pleasantly suprised with the hotel stay. Thought it would be a little dicey for the price - $35 / nite; but they graciously gave me a 10% senior discount WITHOUT ASKING ! With no silly resort fee attached, I was a winner from the start

. Rooms were nicely furnished and updated with a flat screen HD [ ? ] tv, beds and room were clean and fresh. Make sure you ask for rooms away from Fremont st. as it will be a challenge to get some sleep or if you stay up late;get the front rooms and enjoy the scenery and all the action
Casino is nice but smaller with plenty of games and $5 table games. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The restaurants are decent and reasonable especially at their Magnolia Veranda with too many specials to mention - but get the Canal Street. Like they say, try it ; you'll like it

Room Tip: go for the higher floors and possibly towards the back - away from the noise and loud music

Stayed here over the 4th of july. Nickel and dime mentality, noisy, gross and very dirty!! We asked to speak with a manager, no one ever showed up. We checked out after one night - i wouldn't stay here again if someone paid me!

Room Tip: dont stay here if you want a good nights sleep

My stay at the Four Queens was generally terrible. There were a few perks--some people were nice, I guess. On our first night there, there was an altercation in the hallway; a group of drunk girls attacked one of our friends who were staying with us that night. Security took about twenty minutes to respond, and even though the group of girls had JUST left the hallway before they got to our room, somehow they didn't catch them (the group of about seven, rowdy, drunk girls, who were yelling about the fight all the way down). The girl who was attacked was obviously hysterical--who wouldn't be? So, instead of letting us calm her down really fast, they threatened to "gas the entire room," also "pepper spray and arrest us all," and then proceed to tell us "that's how sh** works." I guess that's what justice is. Just to top it off, we were all really cooperative with the security, we were just trying to explain what happened, but still we were threatened by them. In the end, we had to bring the victim somewhere else, or else get evicted, pepper sprayed, and gassed. Also, there were only about five people in the room at that time.
Other than that, the front desk was really rude to us, also they let two guests cut the line in front of us because they knew those certain people, even though the two guests told us beforehand they knew we were before them. The vending machine ate our money and front desk would only give the two dollars to the people who had their name on the room, who were busy for the weekend, and also did not end up giving said people the money when we checked out. There was also an instance where an employee was talking to another employee, and bumped into me pretty hard. Without apologizing, he kept walking, somehow not affected by the incident. Housekeeping took a long time for the whole weekend to do anything, and would never answer the phone because "only three people were working" the whole weekend. Front desk would constantly forget to tell housekeeping about what we needed. Operator was always rude.

If you don't go in expecting a five star hotel, you will be fine. We have always stayed on the Strip and weren't sure what to expect, but we were very pleased. The room was clean, ice machine was broken on our floor but the one on the next floor worked fine. The bathroom ceiling was cracked, but that was the only problem with the room (that wasn't a problem for us but could be for someone eventually). The a/c was cold and the water pressure was good. The beds were very comfortable. This is an old hotel and you have to expect some aging. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had the prime rib dinner at Magnolia's (again, nice but aging) and the wait staff was great. Fremont Street was fun and although we were warned to beware of the homeless crowd it was no worse than on the Strip. We paid $35 (with taxes) and had a great stay. We would certainly go there again.

Room Tip: If you want to get some sleep, stay in the North Tower. We could hear the noise, but it was faint.
