“Comfortable Stay”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

We spent the Memorial Day weekend at the Four Queens on Fremont Street in Las Vegas.
We had a room with two doubles on the 8th floor. All the people that work here were very friendly and helpful. We got a great coupon book when we checked in. Got some free slot play, double points, a free gift (tshirt) with x amount of points, buy 1 get 1 entree at the restaurant and a few others that we did not take advantage of. The room was okay. We did not have a view at all. Our view was obstructed by the piping and such that holds up the sign. The bathroom was quite small. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and not good for anyone with any back issues. The room was not isolated from the street noise at all. It was quite noisy till wee hours in the morning. The 3rd street stage is right by the hotel plus the light show goes on every hour. If you are an early to bed type of person don't count on getting any sleep. You might as well stay out on the street and enjoy the entertainment. One of the elevators went down while we were there that caused quite a back up. We took the stairs down several times to avoid the wait in line for the elevator. They finally did open a freight elevator to allow people to ride to help with the issue. The slot machine variety here is quite good and seemed to pay out a little bit nicer then some of the other casinos on the street. The carpet in the hallways is buckled in many places. Be careful you don't trip. The food at the restaurant was okay. Not any better or worse then most places. There is a subway and other fast food places inside as well. The price of our stay was cheap so can't complain to much. Check out was made easy by having the function available through the tv. Internet access cost $5 for 20 minutes. Probably would not stay here again. But I would gamble here again.

Room Tip: I would think a room on a higher floor and away from the street would be less noisy.

We stayed as a group of couples over New Years 2012 and were delightfully surprised by how nice our stay was. Located directly on Fremont street, Four Queens is in an excellent location for exploring Fremont Street/downtown experience. Staff couldn't have been nicer, rooms were large enough and clean. We had a room away from the street itself, which might be better for light sleepers. Great value, would definitely recommend as part of the Vegas experience. If you primarily want to spend time on the strip, you might want to find something closer.

I've wanted to try a stay on Fremont Street for some time so their recent comp promotion was all I needed! Check in on May 21 was quick and flawless. Room 1005 was very clean with a very comfortable bed, space, and other amenities. Although the bathroom was fine the rust spots on the tub drain reminded you that this was an older room. Plenty of hot water though to make up for the very few age spots. The casino wait staff were superb, very friendly, frequent checks on your needs, and appreciative of the drink tips. Although I did not mind the rock bands playing on the street each night, if you are a light sleeper, you certainly should ask for a room away from Fremont Street. This place is adjacent to the Golden Nugget, Fremont Casino, and Binions so a lot of close casino action.

My husband and I stayed here for one night at the end of our trips to the Grand Canyon and Death Valley. We were flying in/out of the Las Vegas airport and we had never visited the city before so we decided to stay for a night. The room was extremely affordable and parking was only $3 per night for the garage. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The location was awesome on Fremont Street. We drove to the strip earlier in the afternoon and then spent the majority of the night walking around right outside the hotel. It was loud in our room until midnight or so but it wasn't unbearable. If we ever go back to Vegas I would definitely stay here again!

We have been downtown Las Vegas many times. I booked a quick Saturday, Sunday trip on the 4 Queens website. Weekends are very high prices ($150/ 2 nights) but rooms were tough to find so we booked direct on line.
Room was OK, nothing great. 1st night we came back to our room about 10:30pm and we thought we were on the stage at Staples Center. The music was sooo loud you could barely carry on a conversation. Our room was directly above the stage on Fremont Street. The "music" carried on till 1:30am.
I went to the front desk the next morning to talk with the manager about changing rooms. After being told there was no manager on duty that day, a supervisor on duty told me she would move
our room to a suite and we should be away from the noise.
That night we came back to our suite about 9:30pm and it felt like we were on a landing strip
at McCarron Intl. Airport. The noise was so loud there was no way you could sleep, until the music quit about 12:30p. Sunday night.
NO WHERE on 4 queens website do they warn you about the noise, and the supervisor agreed this would be a good idea. The noise is the summer concert series that I understand will go on all summer.
Be aware of 4 Queens if you expect to get any sleep before 2 am.

Room Tip: Go to South Point Resort!

We stayed May 13-16 check in went fast and the help was very friendly. We asked to be moved to a room facing away from Freemont St and it was no problem. The only problem with the room was it had been skipped over and not made up. We called down to the desk and they offered to move us but we were leaving right away and told them to just send someone up to clean it, again the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the room promptly taken care of. I suppose if you are looking for new and fancy your view maybe different but we had never stayed downtown before and am happy with a standard clean hotel room. For the price would stay again next time we are downtown. My three star rating on cleanliness is only because the carpet is older and a little worn and some paint is needed but room was clean, We also found the food at the restaurants above average. The slots seemed very tight but we ran into that every place we went.

I stayed at the Four Queens for 5 nights in April of 2013. I booked my reservation through Hotwire.com and my rate was only $22 per night. Check-In was a breeze and my room was spacious and clean. Upon check-in, the front desk attendant gave me a coupon book with free match play coupons, free slot play, and buy/get one specials for the restaurants. The hotel's restaurant was phenomenal. The $9.95 Prime Rib Special was delicious. Their breakfast was tasty as well(the pancakes are enormous). After joining the player's club, they gave me some more free slot play and a free deck of cards. The casino layout is nice and the crowds were lively. The dealers were nice and competent. My favorite game was their Shoot to Win Craps Machine. It was packed and exciting. The cocktail service was great as well. I would definitely stay here again especially if the price is right. Great location and great atmosphere.
