My experience was typical of any hotel casino on the strip in Vegas - they have all the same basic positives and negatives. At Circus Circus, I stayed in the Casino Tower. The rooms were very nice, clean, and modern. What was lacking (in comparison to, for example, my recent stay at the Silver Legacy in Reno) was any real service - people were there, doing their jobs. Nothing special in terms of speediness, attention to detail, or friendliness. Nobody really seemed to care about their jobs or me in particular. It's all good because the room was so cheap (under $50 even with taxes and resort fees) and lackluster service made it easy to keep the tips low.

We stayed for four night in a room in the Skyrise Tower at Circus Circus. We had read a few bad reviews but decided to give it a try anyway as everyone has different opinions. We loved it. The rooms were clean, quite and modern. The bathroom was huge!
Its a bit of a walk from the main hotels/shops on the strip but easily done and aslo only a short walk to the monorail staion at LVH. The Steakhouse was sublime. I had the Fillet Mongion and it melted in my mouth. We also ate at Rock'N'Ritas and The Garden Grill and the food in both were impeccable. We only had breakfast in the hotel once as we had plans for other things in and around the area, but we had the Circus Circus buffet which was great. So much choice and items cooked to order for you!. The casions themselves were great. The only let down is the smoking in the casino but maybe that as we are used to not being able to smoke inside anymore.
Would definatley stay here again and really really want to coem back to Vegas!

We stayed at Circus Circus October 10 - 16 2012. I was expecting a somewhat run down place but was pleasantly surprised. We were on 9th floor of the Casino Tower, not much view but the room had been renovated and the beds were probably the most comfy hotel beds we have ever experienced. Nice new large flat screen TV and free wifi. All the eateries are very close to elevator and a quick walk to get out to the strip .Only negative is it's a long walk to get to the main strip area, but the Bus Stops out front and across the road. It's also home base for the hop on, hop off bus. We took a cab to the North Outlet Mall and was only about $12.00. Airport (new terminal) to Circus Circus was $36.00, we expected to take a Cab back to Airport, but walked out at 8.30am to find a direct Shuttle parked and waiting for passengers ($7.00 each). I didn't find the Casino overly smokey as some people have mentioned. We didn't really have anything to do with the rides and games as we are in our 50's and a little past the thrill seeking age. Overall I would recommend highly, just buy a bus pass. I think you can get longer passes at 711, a couple blocks south on Strip by Ross dress for less.

I recently spent five nights at the circus circus hotel and casino and overall I was fairly satisfied.

The rooms were clean and spacious but also quite dated.

The location is on the strip but a long walk from the likes of Caesars and basically the centre of the strip, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and you can buy a 24 hour pass for $7 which goes right the way up tithe Mandalay bay.

Wouldn't recommend the buffet they do there (breakfast or dinner) it's pretty basic and not good quality. There's a place to eat there called rockin Rita's which is pretty nice tho.

The pool isn't great compared with other resorts on the strip.

Overall the circus circus is a good hotel and great value but I'd probably pay a little extra and stay in the Excalibur or Luxor with there better location etc.

Stayed for 1 week at Circus Circus. The beds and pillows were the best that I have slept on at any hotel/motel that I have visited. The rooms are very quiet and the customer service was great. The only draw back was the carpeting. It wasn't dirty, but looked that way as it was worn down. Also the wallpaper was curling up in some areas. We stayed in the Tower rooms. My favorite place for breakfast was the Barista. They had great bagels and were reasonable. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in one of the Tower rooms as they are updated.

we stayed for 4 nights at CC in October. Got a great deal with kids under 12 staying for free.
The hotel maybe a bit towards the end of the strip but it has everything for children and they have plenty to keep themselves busy. The adventuredome has all the rides where kids can enjoy all day for a day pass and keep going on the rides. There is a Mcdonalds in the hotel and most of the restaurants are nice and offer all kinds of food. The pool size is not that big.
Try to stay in the main Casino building as its easier to access. I would stay again if im travelling with children. The check in staff were very cordial and courteous. Internet speed was great

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the Casino tower. However the west tower is not bad and all the rooms are renov...
