“Great hotel 2nd visit great room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013 via mobile

This was our second visit to Caesars we had an upgraded room in the palace towers which was enormous, really nice and appreciated! Staff helpful however I was waiting for a package via FedEx which arrived on Xmas eve and they told me there was nothing for me, finally tracked down the day we left! Caesars clearly is a favourite with Asian population so beware it is packed and they really don't care if they walk into you and can be quite rude! The cleaning staff at hotel should be praised it was ultra clean and they were all very polite. We did not eat in the hotel this year as it was pricey. Trying to get a cup of tea was a definite no as teabags were rare. Overall a good experience. Begging in Vegas has stepped up a notch they are everywhere so beware as u will end up broke if you give to everyone.

In terms of room quality, finishing touches and service etc this would easily rate a 5 out of 5. What drags it down is the fact that if you want to make a cup of tea in your room - not possible. If you want to make a quick cup of coffee - you have to pay for it by using their "coffee machine". If you want wifi - not possible (unless you agree to an exorbidant fee). These are little things, but on an overall impression basis, they leave a sour taste in your mouth. Why get all the big things right, and then leave some of the smaller details (finishing touches) to then drag down your overall satisfaction. That said we had a great time at the hotel, as it was centrally located.

We attended a business conference in November. The room was very nicely appointed and looked like a recent remodel and we had two bathrooms. The room was spacious and a nice view of the pools. Word of caution: The in-room coffee maker charges 12.00 per cup! I bought k-cups at Walgreens and avoided the hotel charge for coffee.

We stayed in the Augustus Tower overlooking the Bellagio Fountains on the 42nd floor. Every half hour there was a water show at the fountains which was absolutely beautiful. We were there from December 8 through the 11th and it was just magical! The room was beautiful, large and very accommodating. The bathroom was spacious with a jacuzzi tub, an ex large shower and a double vanity. Many extra amenities were available upon request. With booking per Delta airlines, we had a $50.00/ day food and beverage allowance with our stay.

Room Tip: The Augustus Tower is the newest and can not be beat for a Caesars' property. Also closest to th...

I planned a fabulous weekend away for my husband and myself. A limo was suppose to be waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. It wasnt! that was number one, then the suite we booked was not available because there were alot of high rollers at the hotel the same weekend so they gave our room to one of them. We get to our room and its dirty! Over all customer service was terrible. we checked out the next morning and into another hotel. Never again will we stay at Caesars

Definitely a major disappointment - and I note that there have been a string of similar reviews this month. I had visited the Forum Shops several times and was looking forward to a similarly luxurious stay in the hotel, but no luck. First, we booked two rooms but not only were they not together, they were four floors apart in the Palace Tower. The checkin desk guy somehow thought this was only "a couple of floors apart" and "It doesn't matter once you get in the elevator." Thanks for nothing. He was not prepared to make any concession to our reasonable request.
As several other reviewers have noted, both coffee and wifi are extra - $12 for a pack of coffees and $14.99 for wifi - while most hotels offer them free. The notorious $28 a day "resort fee" included pool and fitness center, but only one of five pools was operating. Water? You might as well drink out of the faucet if you're feeling lucky. Lack of a handbook explaining facilities and charges suggests a preference for inertia selling.
The in-room safe was shut when we arrived, so it was a hassle to get a locksmith to get security to witness the grand opening so we could use it. Worst of all, though, was the so-called Front Desk phone line. I twice had to hang on for more than 15 minutes, the second time giving up. These were on Dec 24 and Dec 25, when the hotel was apparently full. But, knowing this, the management should have laid on more call staff. A supervisor merely said that they had the maximum available on duty. Simply not good enough at the prices they charge.
I suspect that Caesar's, like some other Vegas hotels, is not interested in fostering repeat business, so feels free to treat customers poorly. That is an outdated attitude. I would return if I thought I might be offered a better experience.
An exception to all this is the valet car service. Those guys work hard, on one occasion returning to my car to fish out a phone I had left there by mistake.

Room Tip: Choose? We got no opportunity to choose.
