“Expensive but so nice to come back to”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

If I had to sum it up, I'd say, yes, Caesars is expensive, but really, it was worth it. After taking a trip down to the Stratosphere end of the strip and seeing hotels downtown, after eating at the Flamingo and taking a turn around New York New York, it really made me so happy to always be coming back to the luxury that is Caesars.

The staff there are wonderful. The food is great. The pools are amazing. Even the gym, although pricey, was fabulous. Each running machine had its own air conditioning unit and 50 channels to chose from.

Having been to a lot of different casinos during our trip, I can honestly say that I think Caesars has the right mix of luxury without snobbery.

I would definitely go back.

I stayed here for a business trip and my husband stayed with me. The service was great and so comfortable. We were in walking distance from most attractions. They have four pools, a mall with high end shops, and restaurants that had great food.

Octavius Tower May 25 -28
We arrived at Caesars Palace early - approximately 10:30AM. To our delight our room was ready. The front desk personnel were very hospitable. Access to the Octavius Tower is obtained by taking the hallway to the left of the main lobby. On weekends and at busy times there are security personnel checking room keys before you access the elevator.
Upon arriving at our room we noted a doorbell on the outside. When the privacy light is activated, the doorbell sound is disabled. The activation switch is inside the door and also by the bed.
The room was very spacious (500+ sf) - decorated in shades of gray, brown and beige. It was very well kept. There is a fridge with amenities for sale - It's not for personal use. No coffeepot but a Keurig coffeemaker (no k cups).
The bathroom has two sinks with outlets by each, a spacious whirlpool tub, a separate shower and also the toilet has a privacy door. There is a small wall-mounted tv in the bathroom. It also has a magnifying mirror.
The beds were thick and comfortable, however my husband felt it was a little too firm for him. There are reading lights on each side of the bed and ample lamps in the room. The room also has a sofa, table and chairs.
Caesars Palace charges a resort fee but you can get free Wi-Fi in the Munchbar, located near the casino.
Our room overlooked the pool area. Get to the pool early to get a lounge chair - it fills up fast. Access to the pool is convenient - no parading through the casino or lobby but direct access via a hallway close to the elevator. The hallway also leads to the buffet and casino without having to pass through the lobby.
The Baccanal Buffet is worth experiencing. On weekends a brunch is served but on weekdays breakfast converts to lunch around 11AM. By timing your arrival you can experience both breakfast and lunch for the cost of the breakfast buffet. There are frequently long buffet lines (especially on weekends) - you may wait 45 minutes or so.
The casino is large and has a great variety of machines. I cannot comment on table games since we’re slot players. We’ve played at Caesars several times and consider the casino to be ‘tight’. We usually end up playing at a sister property (Bally’s or Paris) even though we enjoy the rooms/pool/shops more at Caesars Palace. It’s a beautiful property

Took the wife out for her birthday. Great location on the strip. We love this place. We stayed in the Augustus Tower. There are many different room types here. Our room was clean, spacious and modern. Our mattress was probably due for a replacement, but likely due to very high volume. The pool was busy, but relaxing for us nonetheless - lots of waitresses will bring anything you want. The spa is exceptional, one of the very best I have seen - steam, sauna, arctic room, several different baths with varying temperatures. My massage was awesome. Don't skip this spa, make time for it, you wont regret it.
Check in/check out are a bit hectic, better to settle up during off hours to avoid crazy lines. Our only disappointment was the gordon ramsey pub - stay clear here - food quality is fair and service was painfully slow on a less than busy night. Munchbar and the crepe place worked well for us. We did not make it to the buffet, but I am told it is awesome. This palace is set up to generate revenue from every nook and cranny and they are good at separating people from their money - but we had a great time and would return in a heartbeat. Dont let this fact detract from your experience. Dealers are friendly and professional - they get it. Remember you are on vacation, take a deep breath and enjoy it. We certainly did.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Caesars Palace in the Augustus Tower. It was my second visit and I was not disappointed. The Augustus Tower has a separate VIP check-in area which is great as you get to bypass the lines at the regular check-in. So be sure to ask for the the Augustus Tower check-in area. I also learned while checking in that the Augustus Tower has a separate area for getting taxis so once again you get to bypass the long lines for taxis at the main entrance and go to a sepaprate entrance with no wait for your taxi.
The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. I saw very minor signs of aging in the room. Overall it was very nice and I would not hesitate to stay there again. The common areas were well maintained and clean. The 24 hour restaurant (Central) in the lobby area had good food, but was a little pricey (but you are in Vegas!).
I thought the staff was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, pleasant and professional. Among that group was the restaurant manager at the Central Restaurant where we had breakfast several mornings. Each time we were there he came by our table to greet us and make sure we were happy with our meal and service. We had one minor issue which he promptly resolved. We were very happy with our selection of Caesars for our stay and the hotel is in a good central location on the strip.

Room Tip: Ask for room with a view of the Bellagio water show.

Great service and staff. The pool area was amazing and lots of options. The stores and food options were very good. Breakfast buffet is so worth it! The room was good with a nice view of the pool area. Palace tower is much better than the Augustus tower location as well as amenities and is much closer to pool. Security was very good entering the pool area but there should have been someone checking for keys by the elevators like at other hotels.

Green Features: They do the recycling for you so as long as you put it into a receptacle it will get taken care of. The towels and linens are only changed upon request.

First time staying at Caesars Palace and enjoyed it. When looking for a hotel, I found that for the most part, all the casino hotels are the same. Some are newer, some are a bit older and some are much older. This was an older hotel, but kept up very well. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. It sits in a good spot, you don't have to walk far to get to most of the casinos. Spent time at the pool and my suggestion would be to get there early to get a good location because the pools and chairs fill up fast. Ate at the Noodle place in the casino and it was AWESOME! Other than that, we ate at other casino's.
