“Standard has slipped!!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

We stayed here last April and we were so pleased we decided on a return visit but sadly the standards have slipped in 17 months or so.
Check in fine, we had booked a deluxe room in the Palace tower and after a deluxe in Augustus tower last year expected a great room. Furnishings of a high standard but the bathroom floor was dirty and the bath robes provided had clearly not been changed since last guest. We reported this to reception and robes changed immediately but the bathroom floor still in the same state when we checked out!The bath plug mechanism was broken so to empty the tub you literally had to sit and manually hold the plug up, we reported it, engineers promised to be sent to fix but it never got done so we gave up and presumably the maid sat holding the plug waiting for it to empty. We overlooked the pool but the windows were so filthy you couldn't see much through them and I do feel if the management responsible for housekeeping checked on things a bit more vigourously these basic blips wouldn't be happening. The restaurants, bars etc are still fantastic and maybe if it had been our first visit to this hotel we wouldn't have felt the change in standards but as it was we won't be staying there next year but will more than likely use Bellagio where we ate a couple of times and felt attention to detail superior to Caesars, plus they have moved with the times and have non-smoking bars and pool areas which is a very good thing for us.

Room Tip: Augustus tower rooms seem better.

We arrived at the hotel at 1 pm - were told we could only check in now if we paid an additional $60/ night upgrade fee - when we declined it was requested we come back at 3. We returned just to be told our room was still being cleaned and it would be another hour. We were given our room keys shortly after four. Our room was dated and dirty. It looked as though it hadn't been revamped since the 70's. we called and asked about upgrades - nothing available now until the following day. There was no way we were staying. We called customer relations but got nowhere. We were still charged for our ten minute stay. We called trump international towers. They were sympathetic, accommodating and we were in a beautiful suite there within the hour. While Caesar's Palace may be conveniently located and have a fabulous pool, their customer service and accommodations need some serious work

I stayed in the Octavia room which overlooked the pool area. The room was excellent but noisy at night. Music only stopped at 02h30. Then on Sunday we were asked to leave the pool area as there was a private function on, which was very upsetting. The hotel casino is a good conference venue. The roman tower rooms are terrible as I saw my friends room which was 3 star maximum!!!

I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time. I was inspired to write a review on this hotel because prior to staying here I had some unanswered questions that I now know the answer to.

To begin with the property is BEAUTIFUL. Upon check in, you must have a credit or debit card that will authorize a $100.00 refundable incidental fee PER NIGHT. The fees are refunded upon check out if no charges are made.

If you do not want the hotel authorizing such fees to your credit card, you must pay a $200.00 refundable incidental fee, and services such as room service, pay per view, and the mini bar will be blocked.

If you are a guest of the hotel, there is NO charge for the use of the Garden of the Gods Pools Oasis.

If you are a TR Diamond or Seven Stars member, you can check in at the Octavius Tower check in. This doesn’t mean you will be upgraded, but it ensures a smooth, faster check in and check out. It is open late as well. I would like to add because I was a diamond member, my room from the Forum tower was upgraded to the Octavius tower, room #6477… The hotel isn’t literally 69 stories tall, the floors in the newer buildings start at like 49…

I cannot wait to return to this place. It is BEAUTIFUL, nice restaurants, pools, shoppes, and friendly people. The slots are terrible I must say…

Room Tip: The $20 trick works for an upgrade!

I stayed at Caesar's for 1 week Sept. 17-22 and it was the best stay I have ever had! the room was beautiful, the bathroom, well I want one like that at home! stunning! I had the most comfortable sleep in that bed, my bed at home is horrible, I must buy a new one. The view from the room was awesome, we could see the Bellagio, Paris, Bally's and other facing north on the strip. Seeing the fountains every night when we stopped back at the room was spectacular. The staff was out of this world nice and attentive. Never had to wait long for any requests. We had 2 - more towels and the safe was not working. Didn't take more than 1/2 hr for someone to come up. I loved my trip to Vegas, this was my first time here and it was everything I hoped! I will be back again for sure!

The most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. It's presence just seems to engulf you as you pull up outside in the taxi. After we had checked in we made our way to our room in the PalaceTower. It took about ten minutes to actually walk there as the hotel is vast. It captivates the whole being of you and you realise you are standing looking around the splendour which is Caesars with your mouth open and just dribbling a little. The service was excellent, the room clean and immaculate. It is of course a bit pricey but if you are going to visit Las Vegas, it is a must. All you can eat breakfast with nine food stations for only 20 dollars, out of this world!!!!

Room Tip: We had a room in the Palace Tower which was quiet and overlooked the Mirage Hotel.

I have stayed at many Vegas hotels and would not plan to stay here again. There was nothing terrible about it but I just feel there are better choices in this price range. The property itself seemed very chopped up and hard to find your way around. I was in the Palace Tower and thought the rooms could use some updating. The carpets were worn and the tv wasnt the most modern. The two things in the room that were annoying were: 1) the closet light was on a motion sensor so even with the door closed, the light would come on in the middle of the night when you walked past it. With the closet door closed it was still quite bright in the room, especially if others are trying to sleep; and 2) when you turned the tv on and also when turning off, it would go to full volume. Again, very annoying for others in the room if they are asleep when the tv gets turned off. The pool was ok but the loungers pool front were all ones you had to pay for. Pool service wasn't too frequent one day but then good the next. It was very disappointing that they closed the entire pool at 2pm on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for a private function.
