If you want to leave the strip and go to a local joint, AC is the spot. Relaxing atmosphere, and fun times. Don’t have the best table game selection, but hanging with Kay at the Pai-Gow table was super fun. Food is average, service is good and the drinks are strong. If you like bingo, it’s a nice place, they don’t have Station jackpots, but you can actually win there. Overall it’s a fun place to chill and have some goodtimes.

It started off wrong as driving in off the Boulder Highway, we could see what appeared to be the hotel rooms towards the back of the property and the brightly lit casino in the front. There was a sign showing the hotel & casino in roughly the same direction. We headed towards the hotel building, looking for the hotel lobby.
We drove around all the buildings in both directions and then headed towards the casino, to ask for directions. The lobby for the hotel is in one corner of the separate casino building!
We got checked in, and were given a map to the room, which seemed to show us taking a wide path out to the other side of the highway and back into the hotel grounds!
Luckily we ignored the written on path and followed the roads printed on our map.
We were told we were in building one, room nine. However once we were driving, we couldn't see which was building one. There were numbers on the buildings but we didn't see them until the light of the following morning.
We looked at the numbers on the rooms, and thought that we were nowhere near it as the ones we could see all had four digit numbers!
We drove around for a while, finally found a staff member who told us that we were in room 1109 and not room nine!
We got to the room which was a good size two room unit. We immediately noticed the stained carpet and couch, the latter of which was the only place to sit! There was no table or any other chairs. There was no remote for the TV, but a call to the front desk resulted in a very friendly maintenance man arriving very quickly.
We then noticed that the whole unit was not very clean. Baseboards, power outlets, switch plates, coathangers walls etc, were either grimy or dusty! The toilet itself and the fan in there were very noisy and the a/c unit in the queen unit sounded like a two stroke engine firing up! The only clean items in the room were the beds which were very nice and comfortable.
We were prepared for basic as it was a good price, but our room at least needed a deep cleaning.

Thank you for your recent stay at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder. I appreciate you sharing the story of your check-in and looking for your room. That will be helpful to the front desk. Some of our best improvement suggestions and ideas come from our guests. That being said, it sounds like your room, although offering comfortable sleep, had a couple issues. I’m also passing your comments to that team for review. If there is ever anything you need when visiting, just call. The team will find a quick remedy, same as we did for your remote.

We look forward to welcoming you back. Until then - safe and happy travels!

Sincerely,
Mark, General Manager

As long as you keep expectations in line, you'll be fine here.

I requested and was given a ground floor room with the ability to park immediately out the door. Queen bed, large walk-in closet, separate living room with mini-fridge, couch/coffee table, tv in hutch (plus additional tv in bedroom), and table/chairs set-up. Free wifi. Just add a kitchen and it would have been a modest one-bedroom apartment.

True, the rooms are very well-used. Grout in the tub area could use refreshing and the carpet replaced.

Front desk staff attentive. Bar staff friendly but not intrusive (just how I like it), comp'd my mixed drink and bottle of water as I sat for an hour giving up my $20 to the video-blackjack machine.

I didn't eat at the in-house restaurants so I can't say anything about that.

Convenient to have Wallie-World a few miles down Boulder Highway for routine stock-up of travel items (and what a people-watching zoo on a Wednesday evening, yikes!).

Online/reservation, $50 for one night, no extra charges. Worth it, just don't expect a resort-experience.

We were in town for a family wedding & were told this is a good place to stay. Our room was dirty & there was mold on the walls in the bathroom!! We will never stay there again, nor do we recommend it.

Thank you for your recent stay and feedback. We try hard to provide our guests with a comfortable and effortless hospitality experience and it’s always a disappointment to hear when we’ve missed the mark. It does sound like the room you were checked into was not properly readied for arrival, and for that I apologize. We use the reviews to assess the areas we have succeeded and areas that need additional personnel or attention. We can assure you that we’re working to ensure these areas will be corrected and enhanced going forward.  If your travels bring you to Las Vegas again, I want to reassure you along with other guests that we can provide a better hospitality experience than what you encountered with this atypical situation. For this reason, we hope that this will not deter you from staying with us in the future as we would like the opportunity to provide the comfortable hospitality Arizona Charlie’s is known for.  Enjoy the last days of summer and we wish you continued and safe travels!

Sincerely,
Mark, General Manager

Truth be told, we needed a place to crash for just one night. Room was small and old but clean. As I said before I was looking to stay one night and it was fine. Would not spend an extended stay here only because I prefer to stay at a nicer place.
