“Great Place for a Meeting”
Reviewed June 22, 2012

This property is located close to the airport and provides free shuttle service. Check-in is speedy, and the front-desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Suite-style rooms are beautifully designed for work with complementary high-speed internet, comfortable work area and couch, and comfortable sleep and dressing areas. Despite proxmiity to the airport, we were not disturbed by traffic noises.

Meeting space was adequate for our group's needs. One elevator was under repair for part of our stay.

Standard breakfast was good, and others in group enjoyed hot entrees as well. Hotel does not offer salads and sandwiches in its to-go case as they advertised.

Shuttle service could be faster and more reliable--a common complaint re airport hotels.

I hope that we will meet there again next year.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay with us. We will share your comments with our hotel team. Our to-go case does carry sandwhiches and salads. We also have a menu to order off of 24/7. Our breakfast was just upgraded to a complimentary Hot Breakfast and hope you will stay with us during your next visit to Las Vegas to enjoy our upgraded amenities. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. Kind Regards, Jaylene

Close to the airport, main strip. Very good pizza. Go to the Hard Rock, which is across the street, if you need a cab.

Had an overnight in Vegas before flying out in the morning and the Hyatt Place Las Vegas was perfect. Called for a Shuttle after getting our luggage and someone was there within minutes.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and even gave us a tour of the first floor area.

We walked to the strip which was about a mile and a half. We were lucky in that is was a fairly cool day in May for the walk - probably wouldn't want to do it on a hot day!

The rooms are good sized and very comfortable.

Took the Shuttle back to the airport in the morning and it left at the promised time.

The continental breakfast is pretty basic. However, if you feel you need more they do have the choice of hot breakfast items for an additional charge.

Overall I was very pleased with our stay.

We were getting in late into Las Vegas and wanted somewhere quick and easy to stay for our first night. They Hyatt was perfect. They were pulling up to pick us up as soon as we walked outside (called them when we got our luggage). We were hungry when we got there but very tired from a long day of traveling. They had sandwiches ready to eat for purchase right at the front desk.
Our room was very spacious. Love being able to sit on a couch to watch tv rather than laying in bed.
The business center was very handy to handle some business emails that needed attention.
The free breakfast was a bit dinky but they had plenty of options for purchase if you couldnt get satisfied with what they were offering. (we were fine with what we had)
Loved that is was across the street from a CVS, several restaurants and the Hard Rock casino. It was really a great location.
Even though it was just a 1 night stay, I could have been happy there my whole stay.

We were pretty impressed with a suite for under $100. per night. Continental breakfast the following morning was included.
Minor issue #1... We were directed to the wrong set of elevators for our room by a guest services SUPERVISOR.
Minor issue #2... With a disability, we need a tub stool for the shower. We were shocked to find a Hyatt that does not have them.

Close to the airport. Friendly, quick shuttle service. Fairly clean, quiet room (AC vent was filthy and had to clean the slats with a wash rag). Close to good restaurants and away from casinos. Wi-fi worked fine.

Confirmed on check-in that my travel company had paid for my room. Yet the next day had a charge to my credit card for the room. Even though I told them that was incorrect, still charged me. When I returned a week later on a Friday, was told the charge would be removed on Monday. The manager had my phone and email and I asked him to call me Monday to confirm. He never did. Had to work through my travel company to have them straighten this out. This is Thursday and no credit refund is showing. I left the manager a voice mail today and still no response from him. Spoke with someone else today who said the credit for the room over-charge was issued Tuesday but 48 hours later, nothing shows on my credit card statement. Additionally, there is a pending $75 charge to my credit card although I charged nothing while there. The woman today said that on check-in, cards are automatically charged $75 IN CASE you charge something. I was never told this and in my mind this borders on fraud, removing money from my account with absolutely no authorization. It is 5 hours since speaking with this woman and leaving the manager a voice mail and still no call or email from him and no indication of a refund of the room charge or the $75 on my statement.

I would never stay here again.

The shuttle from the hotel to the strip runs once per hour at the 45's (3:45, 4:45, 5:45, etc). It drops you off at the parking garage for the Miracle Mile shops in Planet Hollywood. So to return from the strip, you have to be at the parking garage around the 50's. The shuttle stops at 10:45. So this hotel is fine for an occasional trip to the strip. However, if you're coming to Vegas to gamble, you might want to stay elsewhere. The front desk will tell you it's a 15 minute walk to the strip, but it took us around 25 minutes. But it's a very short walk to the Hard Rock Hotel

Room Tip: The hotel is in the flight path from the airport. Ask for a pool view room facing the south to mini...
