“Loved It !!”
Reviewed June 11, 2010

Stayed here for 6 nights from May 2nd. Checked in 6pm, fast service, but because it was late in the day they only had smoking rooms available. I explained that we could not stay in smoking rooms due to health issues, so they put us in non-smoking disabled rooms for 1 night. The next day they moved us and upgraded us to fountain view rooms for no extra cost. I guess for the inconvenience. Very appreciated ! Concierge very helpful with show tickets and everything. Business Centre also very good. Free bottle of wine per room.
The rooms themselved are great. Very spacious, the bathroom is huge. Bed was super comfortable, decor nice. I must agree however with previous reviews, the lighting needs to be improved, though a minor detail.
Casino is vibrant, always great music playing. Pool area is fantastic ! Try the private cabanas.
There are plenty of places to eat. We went to Planet Dailies twice, nice meals, average price but good value. We also ate at the Planet Hollywood buffet twice. Got $5 off vouchers because we were staying at the hotel, and without a doubt it would be the best buffet I have had in Vegas ! Also, there are many places to eat in the Miracle Mile. Cabo Wabo Cantina is a great place to eat. (Stay clear of the Cheeseburger Las Vegas diner. Had the most dreadful breakfast there, dinner not much better !)
Speaking of the Miracle Mile shops...how fantastic to be able to walk outside the casino into a shopping mall ! Everything you could want. ABC store, fashions, food etc. This was one of the best things about Planet Hollywood, convenience to everything. Central to the strip, can walk easily to other Casinos and sights. I have stayed at the Luxor before and even though it is a nice hotel it is too far from everything.
All in all a wonderful experience and absolutely will stay here again.

This was our sixth trip to Las Vegas and decided to give PH ago, we booked a Hollywood Hip room with a strip view, no smoking.
We arrived and at check in we were told that room was unavailable, and put us in a smoking room the receptionist told us it was an old style Aladdin room, unhappy but tired we gave it ago, it was awful the room was like something out of the film 'The shinning' it was dated (1970's era) and must only be used for overbooking as it was different to other rooms at the hotel.
We were not happy with the room and went back down to check in desk and to find a lady crying and an unhappy husband complaining about the dirty rooms to the unhelpful staff at check in.
We complained and some how, amazingly the room we originally booked came available at check in! We arrived at second room and the room was dusty, bathroom was dirty the shower stunk , a door was missing in the room! Bed had stains, there was no duvet cover on bed And the phone wouldn't work.
The receptionists didn't want to know, the hotel was full of drunk groups of men and women! ( UK think 18-30's) bearing in mind we are both in our late 20's but this dingy smelly dirty rooms were not for us!we decided to check out of this hotel and moved to the lovely Mirage hotel.
I would definitely think twice if you are going to stay here, maybe if your going on a stag/hen party it would be ok. But the standard of cleanliness was below standards at this hotel, non of the staff seemed to care.

Stayed 3 nights at Planet Hollywood and was treated very well. Check in only took a few minutes since it was right at 3 pm Hotel personnel very friendly Craps table crew was very nice enjoyed talking to them as we played. Pleasure pit girls were pretty. Waitress girls were always around offering drinks. Crowd was on the young side with most of the craps players being carded before they could play which made me feel old (52) Saw Marc Savard show and never laughed more in my life. My wife and I really enjoyed the Buffet of Buffets especially the Spice Market in P H Would definitely stay here next time and recommend to my friends

I am over 40!! This hotel is a party hotel.........

Checked in no problem had a room on the 8th floor, the hotel design is modern but the colours make the hotel dark in the corridor's, the room window was quite small in relation to the room. The room was good and the bathroom was excellent and very large.

Pool seemed quite small but the surrounding area is large, we did not use but it looked fun.

The casino is large and fun a couple of bars a DJ and two live bands, the pleasure pit is very enjoyable (for the men) these tables open around 6pm.

The hotel location is fantastic in the middle of the strip and makes looking around quite easy.

Las Vegas now has a good bus system (right outside the hotel for the slow bus or across the road at Paris for the express bus) $7 for 24 hours, $15 for three days, $20 for five days, the express bus runs from one outlet to the other outlet centre along the whole strip. If possible get the express bus as you just get on and is much quicker.

This was mine and my boyfriends first trip to Vegas and was for his birthday so wanted it to be good! Have to say we were not disappointed, this hotel is perfect!! Just what you want for a great trip to Vegas, rooms were lovely and clean with very comfortable beds got a great night sleep every night! Staff were helpful, casino amazing, definately the most impressive out of all the hotels, restaurants were really nice Planet dailies was a little expensive but what do you expect, theres a mcdonalds down the road! The miracle mile shops are excellent and have lots of other restaurants, we also went to see the ultimate variety show there which was $50 each and well worth seeing, booked through hotel! Location is by far the best on the strip, in the middle of everything and perfect for exploring the whole strip! This hotel is brilliant and I for one was very impressed! If anyone has any questions I will be happy to answer them!

Stayed here for 7 nights for a birthday. Check in was fast, we were also given a voucher for a bottle of spirit for each room (great start). We were in the fountain view rooms which had fantastic views of the Bellagio fountain.

Casino (Pleasure PIt) was great, service from the waitress's was great, you didnt have to wait long for a drink. Plenty of places to eat, definitely try the Buffet at Planet Hollywood as this will please any pallet because of the array of different foods ranging from steaks to seafood.

The pool is on the 6th floor, there are 2 pools either side of the terrace and waitress service so you dont even have to move from your lounger. We didnt have to worry about beds there was always some available which we dragged together if necessary. The staff at this hotel were so helpful for any enquires or needs we had.

We partied at different hotels most nights but went to KOI at PH, this was a great club and you get free drinks all night for just $20 and you can come and go as you please for the night.

I would recommend this hotel for central location, young crowd and great party atmosphere.

Clubs to defo go to Tryst at the Wynne, Shadow Bar at Caesars, Surrender at Encore, Jet at Mirage and many many bars at all the hotels, PH was fantastic but I would also recommend that you try different bars, clubs, restaurants and casinos.

Have great time....

I can understand a lot of youngin's (like us) stay here because it's centrally located and super cheap for its location, you would expect a mess here and there. But esp with the resort fee we have to pay every night, we expected better cleaning services.

We missed our room cleaning the 1st day because we slept in, but we expected them to return later on in the day to clean. We returned to our room at 9pm and it was still not cleaned. We called them to come in as we were about to head out for the night, and they said they would send someone. When we returned again, it was STILL not cleaned. The next day, we missed the early morning cleaning services again, but this time we called them before we headed out to make sure they came back. They came back, BUT, the cleaning was horribly done. There were still food crumbs lying around, and our dirty glasses weren't replaced with clean ones. They even left a dirty rag in our bathroom, and somehow jammed our sink stopper we had to call someone in to fix it!

The hallways were not kept up to par either. An cigarette tray was knocked over in the hallway and it wasn't cleaned up even hours after we saw it the 1st time.

Otherwise, the location and the rooms themselves were great. Bathroom was HUGE. The casino I found to be a maze.. it was so hard to find an exit!! If you're looking for good services though, I would advise against staying here. For a couple of girls like us, I would recommend it, if you can deal with the horrible cleaning services.
