We stayed 3 nights in Oct 2012. Our room overlooked the Bellagio fountains and had a queen bed. The room was fine. I liked having a separate toilet, not a shower/handbasin/toilet combination. Check in and check out was smooth and painless.
I did not like the smell of smoke everywhere. Our room didn't smell thank goodness but the hallways and lifts reeked, and the gaming area was suffocating. Maybe improve the ventilation. Also the pool area was a major disappointment. The enormous area between the two pools looked like a carpark covered in lounges.

Overall, we had a good experience with staying at PH. The self parking was easy and of course free, although it would have been nice to have better directions from the parking garage to the hotel. I understand they want you to get lost in the casino, but I do not understand why it is so difficult to get from the garage back to the hotel. The room was clean and fairly spacious as well as quiet. I would not necessarily recommend this hotel and casino for a family trip, as the establish ment is very much "adult" based and not as classy as other hotels on the strip.

Excellent stay! We were given a room on the Penthouse PH2 floor for no extra cost! We were told the elevators might be noisy but in all honesty they were not a bother at all. Our room looked out on to the strip. The Bellagio fountains could not be seen from a better spot.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Its practically in the middle of the strip which is extremely nice when you are walking miles all day. Rooms were very clean and have interesting themes. It's great to stay here because Miracle Mile has lots of shops and restaurants. Also there is a Walgreens on street level which is great for picking up anything you forgot to bring with you on your travels.

I would definitely stay here again.

Las Vegas is the city of sin apparently, but also very hot on weddings. Therefore i did expect some acknowledgement at least that we were on our honeymoon. This didn't happen. I think most of the hotels are so used to it, they don't care! Plus they are all massive names so wouldn't really need to care!

However like most of the other hotels in Vegas it had all the amenities in one place, if you didn't want to leave your hotel you wouldn't need to.

It has shops, resturants, bars, even a spa all under one roof. The pool area was amazing, bit cheeky you have to pay for good beds, but it's VEGAS BABY!

Our room was left one day which was a shame, but other than that it was fab. We had a fantastic view of the fountains too.

Would stay here again!

Stayed at Planet Hollywood Nov 1 to Nov 4, location of hotel was great, hotel itself is very nice however the service is terrible .
First day we checked in the room, the carpet was dirty , heavy dust accumulated on the edges , one area by side of bed, looked liked some furniture has been removed but not cleaned behind it, the walls had some thing spilled on it and very dirty. At around 3pm i called housekeeping to have it cleaned, an hour later no one came, i called frontdesk, they ensured someone will be up shortly
We returned to the room after 8pm and found someone still had not come up to clean it. Called the Front desk manager, he apologised and ensured he will have someone asap, at the same time he offered us late c/o. half an hour later some one showed up from maintenance department, asking if we had called to have our filters changed, i explained we called for housekeeping, finally some one came and cleaned up. Next day we received NO housekeeping service at all , we left our room around 1.30pm came back about 7pm and no one had cleaned it. Called manager again, apologised offered free internet which we were not able to use due some connection issue, and also offered a $25 food credit. At c/o non of the above offers had been comped , agent told us we had to pay for internet and owed $65 for food we ate at one of the restaurant, we had to go through a lengthy explanation again. We explained to him our bill was no more than $55 total , with the $25 credit we should only owe the remaining balance . We did not HAVE time to stand and argue as our shuttle was waiting . Agent said he would pass the bill to restaurant to review etc. It seems this hotel lacks communication between departments. The hotel does not charge resort fee but it would be nice to have some water available for purchase in the room, corkscrew, called down for corkscrew was told there is a $5.00 delivery charge, ????
